had it for 10 months and never regret buying it. It's well built and DJI apps is amazing to use. I'm a a beginner and this is a recommended starter drone to play with.

Setting it up took a while. Taking it for video shoot was the best thing I did on Christmas.

The dji mini flies smooth and very balance. It’s a very good beginner drone in terms of learning to fly a quad-copter. Videos are not so much to my liking but i’m sure it makes a good practicing device to shoot good videos before investing into a higher end drone with all the bells and whistles. I’m giving it 3 stars because I think at 2.7K, it should at least shoot a video close to a gopro quality at 1080p. Im not sure if my settings are off or not but looks like I’m not getting the clearest of images.

Buyer Beware! If you buy this drone make sure that your phone is compatible with the DJI Fly App. The CPU in your phone must be built on a 64bit architecture with ARM v8. DJI has written a new program for the new Fly APP which has much higher requirements than the Go4 App used for the Mavic 2 which I currently have. DJI has a small list of compatible phones on the website, but in the past the list was never an accurate barometer for whether your phone would work with the App. If you own an Apple product, you should be fairly safe. Android users should check compatibility at the PlayStore before buying this product. I gave this a 2 star rating. I didn't want to give it a 1 because this is a quite capable drone with great features. It's just the fact that DJI should be more forthcoming about the requirements to get this thing in the air. Bought this drone and returned it the same day. To add insult to injury, Best Buy stuck me with a $70.00 restocking fee. I just removed the plastic from box and broke the seal, didn't even touch anything inside. I've been a loyal customer since 1996, but the next time I purchase electronics, Best Buy will probably not be on the short list.

My very first cinematography drone and it was/is great. Only downfall of this drone is no 4k capability. I would recommend this to anyone trying to buy a drone.

get this instead of just the drone, totally worth it for the batteries and case alone

I purchased the DJI Mavic Mini no more than 1 month ago and I’m happy with it. The only con is that I did not receive the stickers, and the markers that go with the fly more combo.

I had no problem figuring out how to fly this drone. Excellent YouTube videos online.
