Fly first before you buy

I fly twice and after almost got stuck to a palm tree I was so nervous as hell, as it was blinking for low battery. The minute that happen I was like this is not good investment for me. So, I ended up returning this but I got charged for 15% but its better than nothing.

great entry level drone

My main complain is the range. Even though it says it can go as far as 2 miles, I cannot even get 1/5 of that range due to poor signal all the time. I have tried different locations and the best I get is around 20% signal. Everything else is good though.

Doesnt work 5/2020 software update

I had high hopes for this drone and i bought it because DJI is supposed to be the market leader. However after charging all the batteries and following all instructions the drone wont fly. It was locked and needs software v01.00.005 to fly and despite using the mavic assistant or the dji fly app on newest version of android it would just freeze on %94. Save your money until they (if ever) Fix this issue. Hold times for customer support are long and the online chat they just tell you to call in. Wouldnt provide me with much info. Extremely dissappointed. I spent hours reading through forums and tried moving the aircraft away from the remote etc.. Its a $500 plastic model.
