Not very durable. I was expecting some durability sacrifice for the weight but the thing is like flying a fine China through the air. Wind took it on my second flight and as much as I tried fighting to keep it away from the trees and land the thing, it ended up crashing. The front arms broke and the cam doesn’t turn anymore. I managed to fix most of the broken parts myself but the thing ain’t the same.

I bought the mini dji i product based that it would return if GPS signal was lost.I t did not return neither could I physically get to it.

Mavic has a problem with geofencing restrictions which caused a lot of problems. This is a problem with many Mavic products but was especially frustrating with the Mavic Mini. At first the software would not enable anyone to "unlock" the geofencing. Once the firmware update was released I still could not access the unit and so never did get it to fly. Except for this the product seemed well constructed, however this limitation rendered it essentially useless for me. Thankfully Best Buy enabled me to return the product within the time frame.

it was a gift and it's great except the GPS doesnt work, so it won't return "home". Have to exchange it. Other than that, had a great kidding experience with Best Buy.

It lost connection while I was flying it and within 48 hours of having it lost itself of a cliffside and despite searching 5 hours for it could never recover it.

It was a good drone but you should just get the mini 2. 4K over 2.7k and exposure bracketing you can do work with the mini 2.

Make sure your phone is compatible with this drone. Specifically, make sure you can download and install the "DJI Go Fly" app on your phone or you will not be able to run this drone. They claim it will work on your phone if you are running Android 6.0 and newer. What they "forget" to tell you, is that it also needs to be a 64 bit OS. As for the drones' performance, I don't know. My phone was incompatible. Huge disappointment. Returned

The packaging and the boxes feel nice and premium to open, and the fly more pack is a good value, but this drone is hard to recommend. In the first 3 flights one of the motors malfunctioned and had to be returned. I got another one, and the same thing happened. Not flying in any adverse conditions, just poor build quality. Would not recommend.

I'm no expert drone pilot or anything, but I love fun technologies and this was a great starter for me and my boys. Like a lot of people who think drones are cool, I also like to try beta software. I updated my Android OS to 11 in June on my Pixel 4XL just as I did last year on a 3XL and a 2XL before that and the Pixel XL before that. I've never, ever come across an app that simply will not open 5 months after the code was released to developers in order to build in compatibility. In fact, a can't think of more than one app that routinely takes a couple weeks into May to work perfectly, but it works for the most part before that. Obviously, any reasonable person should allow some time and be a little patient. But DJI FLY still won't even open on Android 11, rendering the Mavic Mini and other DJI drones USELESS, and to top it off DJI support has responded with several messages such as "what's Android 11?" and "DJI intends to begin building in Android 11 compatibility once the full retail version is released". How unbelievably counterintuitive this is. Every other developer will be working on Android 12 compatibility by the time DJI has something for Android 11.

I loved this drone, but the drone turned itself off over apache lake, $600.00 down the drain.

The Mini suffers in flight distance because of interference. I can only get 900ft in distance which is peanuts in comparison to what DJI rates it can do. Also I can’t get the memory card feature to work with any card. Trust me, I’ve tried everything. It won’t reformat in the first place. And I’ve tried 5 cards. I’m done.

Before you get this drone, make sure to check if you can install the dji fly app. Not all android phone supports the app.

Was not too happy with the way the gumball camera worked. It gets quite irritating. Besides that it is good.

Great little drone and fun to fly. Hope future models have terrain avoidance tho. Biggest disappointment was finding that I couldn’t get more than 11-13 minutes flight time before the red warning lights come in the phone with a “battery low return to base” message. I bought the “fly more” kit so I had 3 batteries to try. I returned it after three days for a refund. Sad....

Great starter drone, but for an experienced pilot, I found it to be too "lite" for mild wind conditions...

It is okay for the price the video quality is okay. Not great. Battery life not that good.

I'm returning my DJ -Mavic Mini I live in the Washington metropolitan area near Suitland Maryland it is hard to fly this drone anywhere in my area the Drone is locked down I live so far from Andrews Air Force Base everywhere in my neighborhood I am locked out from flying with the geo-fencing I know it's a good drone it does me no good if I cannot fly it

Usb to phone connection disconnects toomuch .. but other than that good for starters

It's a good quad. But my controller hasn't lasted thru two batteries... Ever..
