First off this is NOT a toy. It's toy sized, but it is a Mavic all the way. Superb flying characteristics, great camera and the Fly More package is such a great value. I really love flying this little drone, its fast and fun. If you are a seasoned Mavic pilot you will love it and beginners will be on board immediately after one flight. It is light as a feather and does get buffeted around by wind some, but it is tough little bird, Thanks Best Buy

This is such a great drone for a beginner! I have never flown a drone before and the controls are simple and the drone responds very well. Being able to set parameters in altitude and distance definitely makes it easier to know you are in control. I also love the camera quality of the drone, very crisp and clean! I purchased mavic mini this month. This is my first drone camera. Very easy to fly, remote is very easy to handle and very smooth. I recommend this for anyone who never used drone camera. Picture and video quality is better than what I was expecting.

I bought the "Mavic Mini Fly More Combo" from BestBuy after watching hours of YouTube videos and reading reviews on the web about how great it is, what a value for the money, long amount of flight-time in this price range. All of that is true, the drone itself is awesome! The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because of the DJI Fly app. You install the app on your phone or tablet, so you can interact with the drone while flying. You can not fly the drone without that app! The DJI website says the app is compatible with any Android device that is Android version 6 and newer. That is definitely not true! I have Samsung Galaxy TabA tablet, with Android ver 8, and the app won't install. I've tried to install from the Google Play store, as well as changing security options to download the APK directly, and both methods fail. After digging around on the Internet, I see lots of other people on DJI forums with the same problem. Those people have reached out to DJI, and were told their phone or device must be running the 64-bit version of Android. Do the extra work to verify your phone/tablet is compatible before you buy the drone!

I like the Drone because it is pretty easy to fly. I have lost my drone and was able to retrieve it. The battery life is good as long as you don't have it on full Full Speed all the time. It takes really good videos and pictures. I like the fact that you don't have to have it registered with the FAA. Since it only weigh 249 grams. All in all it is just a great drone

Was a little skeptical given the mixed reviews but I had no issues either flying with my phone or without it. Just make sure you do the updates when prompted.

This is a lot of fun for both adults and kids! Easy to use and it works great! Well made, precise, durable quadcopter! The remote is compact and easy to navigate with. The battery lasts long and you have a lot of play time between charges. This would made a great gift as well! I would recommend checking this out! Absolutely met and exceeded all expectations! Great brand, awesome product!

Important to note. You will not see this at the DJI website, nor in any of the pre-release reviews of the drone. DJI is HIDING this significant issue with their product. I purchased the Mavic Mini from Best Buy in Manchester, Conn. on the release date - Nov. 11, 2019. - DJI uses a Geo System that "locks" you out from flying in restricted zones. - Normally, you can "self unlock" or "custom unlock" a blue "Authorization Zone" at the DJI website - dji.com/flysafe/ - This functionality is NOT yet available with the Mavic Mini. Estimated firmware release is [was] "late December." But here is the problem. It's late December and they are now balking. The drone software is NOT YET FIXED. For me, it means I have to drive 20 minutes to fly my drone. I can not even fly the drone inside of my house due to DJI's decision to release this drone prior to it being ready for release. I have clients that wanted me to do some photography work in an area that was locked. Even with my Part 107 commercial license and authorization from the FAA to fly in the area, DJI has LOCKED ME OUT from flying the drone in that airspace. They do not seem to care one bit. Buyer beware.
