Obstacle avoidance and automatic return home features are an asset. A bit of a learning curve in fine-tuning the controls, but well worth the effort. This is a good choice for a beginner, yet also a great choice for an experienced drone pilot.

Make sure you get the DJI refresh plan. Crashed and burned 3 times. Fun to fly. Have DJI headset with it.

DJI - Mavic Pro Quadcopter with Remote Controller - Gray is the future; it is unbelievable what it can do. The app leaves a bit to be desired, but I am sure (and hope) that it will be updated in no time.

Solidly built and easy to use right out of the box. It helps to have some drone experience when using this.

This is one of the most advanced drones I've flown. I've had all versions of the Phantom and the Mavic is just plain fun today. Extremely compact makes it easier to take places compared to the Phantoms.

Great design and camera, but wished the battery lasted longgggggggger. Other than that, great purchase.

Best thing about this drone is the portability. I just wish it was a quicker process to get the drone flying...re "pocket drones" are faster in this regard. Also, sometimes my gimbal gives the danish tilt to my videos...even though it's calibrated.

it has everything you need to get started. Spending time on YouTube to learn how to make the best of my learning experience. Well put together combo for someone starting out. We did have to get some input online because of compact instruction.

Nice little drone. I needed this after my Phantom went down due to a low battery and high wind. I was able to locate it in a 1,000 acre field and hover above it to find it. BB price matched a lower price and also had a $100 gift card offer.

I love this drone you have to get the color pitch just right for your shots, you can capture some great footage

The Magic Pro and controller are virtually ready to fly out of the box. Other than the need to update software and firmware, a regular requirement anymore, I just attached my cellphone with included connectors, and I was airborne within minutes.

I’ve bought a dozen or so drones over the past few years but I’ve finally decided to spend a few more bucks and get a DJI. Definitely the best drone I’ve flown and would recommend to anyone with a little previous flight experience!

This drone was a good, portable size and easy to learn about and operate. Unfortunately, operating it on its own led to a light pole crash, so it’s obstacle avoidance system is not foolproof. Otherwise, it’s been a great deal of fin.

This is really great drone. Many people complain about loosing control and other problems. Most of it is related to not proper operating. First read the manual, update software and firmware, calibrate sensors, and after you can fly. Worth the $999.

While being a great, easy to navigate drone, I wish the camera zoom feature was a bit more pronounced.

This drone was my first for professional use and I have used it religiously. It's amazing what software can accomplish. I'd recommend the Mavic 2 Pro however if you're looking for more autonomy.
