Android users beware

DJI updated their app about a month ago, and now I am unable to use my phone to fly the drone. The response from DJI was to buy a new phone. That's poor customer support. When the app worked, the drone flew very well and captured great video and photos, making the drone worthy of a five star rating. To fly the drone, I have to pay another $25 for a third party app called Litchi. DJI supports Apple products, and the drone works great with iOS. I can't recommend this to anyone using Android.

Posted .Hey Flyer. We're sorry that you had a bad experience with your Android phone running DJI GO 4. Though you are correct that iOS devices are slightly more suitable for the app, most users don't see any significant issues with modern Android phones. This is not to assume you didn't experience an issue, to be clear. 3rd party apps like Litchi are great options for users and it's important to note it doesn't void your warranty.
