When you get serious, this is the drone to buy! I have a couple of cheap drones in the $100 range, thinking they'd be good at that dollar value - they're just toys compared to the Mavic Pro. I have a better appreciation for the Mavic after having a cheaper drone. Flying a drone is fun in and of itself, but having one that can do as much as this makes it worthwhile. First thing to note, when you first get it off the ground, it hovers perfectly in one position, no drifting like the cheap ones. Next it handles extremely well and is easy to control. The features are too numerous to mention here, but I love the RTH (return to home) that brings it right back from where it took off. Video quality is great, and the range is amazing. I've not had the opportunity to fly as much as I'd like, but it puts a smile on my face when I do get out there with this thing. I'd almost say to get a cheaper drone first, get proficient at flying, and you too will have a great appreciation when you upgrade to the Mavic. If you're on the fence and reading through reviews to decide, let me tell you now - wait no longer! There's a reason why they don't stay on the shelf and sell out quickly. Yes it's an investment, but if you think you're serious about flying, this is well worth it.

I had to replace this model 3x already because every time I update the firmware the drone suddenly acts up which might result in a crash, which then is not under warranty! I lost $1.000 thank you DJI

This thing is so much fun to fly and there is not much of a learning curve. Before I bought this drone, I had never flown a quad of any kind. Not even an RC plane. Ever. I've flown this many, many times since I bought it 8 months ago and I've never crashed it. The thing is amazing. The video quality is great, even at 1080, but I almost always record in 4K. And with constant updates to the software and firmware, new features and tools are always being added.

Line-of-sight - drone would not go further that 0.5 miles. Adjusted antennas and still same issue. Not as advertised.

I was pretty upset with the drone and Best Buy. My micro sd card got stuck. Couldn’t get it out. Came to Best Buy and none of them couldn’t get it out. So they said they can either give me money back for drone or the card. Obviously I took the money back for the drone but I lost a 128gb card. That cost me money too.

Receiver couldn't work only after a week, too many bugs. A great software may solve the problems

The Mavic Pro is my first real drone and I bought it based in my brother's recommendation. He is an experienced commercial drone pilot and said the Mavic was the drone to buy and he was right. Super easy to fly, and packed full of high tech features that I have since learned are usually only found in more expensive drones. The camera is very good and the battery life is pretty close to what DJI claims. I bought a sunshade for the controller which helps see the app on my phone. Overall the controller is good although the way the phone clamps in with the short little cable is a bit awkward. I may purchase an expanded phone/tablet clamp in the future. Overall I am extremely pleased with this drone and highly recommend it.

First of all. It only connects to remote whenever it wants to. Second it doesn’t film 4k at 60 fps. Not even 2.7k!!! I would return it but I didn’t really use it until after the return date. Sucks. Go with the phantom 4 advanced or pro

Love my DJI Mavic I walked into Best Buy knowing its sold out everywhere but I asked and the guy said he had 1 fly more combo I couldn't believe it best 1299.00$ I have ever spent. I waited for this drone to be released because of its size and portability and I am glad I did I take it everywhere with me just incase so I can get that once in a life time shot. So easy to fly and setup and the fly more combo comes with 3 battery's and care charger and case cant go wrong !!!!

Second day my control have issues to conect and now i cant fly the drone i stuck with almost 1000 dolars drone and i cant fly i try tonget help and ether best buy employes say cant help nonwarranty or nothing for the store

I have to give this only 1 star only because I did not get to fly it with the remote. Straight out the box the remote was defective and after reading so many issues with it I returned for a Phantom 4 Pro

The Mavic is awesome!! Excellent photo quality and easy controls make even an amateur look good. Its compact size fits in almost any bag making it easy to travel with, and the intelligent flight modes are far above any other brand out there.

Does not connect or stay connected to Android devices. Don't waste your money like I did

Malfunction after a couple of times used, without crashes. Support of BestBuy doesn't answer.

Choose another with a dedicated remote control....

I have had many drones and this one is definitely the best drone I have ever used. I own a phantom 4 and this drone is MUCH easier to take with you and setup. People will tell you that this drone is too small and it can't handle the wind or take good pictures... THEY ARE VERY MISINFORMED. This drone is ROCK solid in the air, and it takes amazing shots. The camera does need to be tapped so it can focus, but it's a great camera. The camera on the phantom 4 is a tiny bit better, but not that much better.I am VERY impressed with the drone. I really recommend this drone to anyone who loves to fly quadcopters.

I was highly skeptical of the quality of this drone. However after flying it for a 5 minutes you quickly realize that this guy is a beast. It is super stable, the camera takes crystal clear shots, and on sport mode this thing really moves.

lost two of them one due to probaler error and the second for battery die .

very complicated to setup not clear directions still not set up yet
