I have the Mavic Pro, and the Phantom 3 Pro, and there are pros and cons to both, but I've been choosing to fly the Mavic Pro almost exclusively. The portability is the biggest factor here. My Phantom 3 Pro case with all of the the goodies in it weighs about 25 lbs. My Mavic Pro case weighs about 5 lbs. Both are the solid walled, heavy duty type of case. It flies remarkably well, and the obstacle avoidance system is pretty slick. The batteries are also much less expensive, so owning several extra won't require breaking the bank.

This drone is so easy to fly and hard to lose. The camera footage is incredible and once you get it your get more and more anxious to fly.

I have waited a while before buying a drone, and I am so glad I did. The Mavic Pro has been reviewed many times online and everyone came to the same conclusion that it was the best deal out there. I really enjoy flying it and I have already ordered the Goggles to go with it. I would highly recommend the Mavic Pro. Flying it is incredibly easy. All of the automated features built in to the intelligent flying modes are incredible. They can make your video look professional without having all the experience of an expert flyer.

It's a popular product, so it took a while to be in stock, but once I got my hands on it it was smooth flying. Easy to setup, easier to fly. If you're interested in DJI-Refresh, make sure don't activate the aircraft (turn it on) before you can actually use it. DJI refresh won't link to your aircraft after 48 hours from activation. I missed this window because I turned it on the day I picked it up, but wasn't able to fly for another 2 days. By the time I looked into dji refresh, it was too late. No crashes yet, though so that's good.

Probably the best portable drone out right now, it has a great range and the picture quality is incredible. Videos are in 4k.

I'm 50, never flew a drone before. I've been watching alot of internet video reviews before my purchase. I been planning on purchasing one for a couple of years and the Mavic was the best choice I could have made. I really enjoy flying. I notice areas now when I'm driving that I want to fly in. Go home get the drone and I'm up in the air. This drone is not a racing drone but a great Drone for video. Filmed the grands Easter egg hunt at the community center. Turned out really good. Definitely a fun camera.

Great drone with lots a capability. Easy to fly. Fly more pack is worth the cost as you can fly 3 times longer than usual.

This was a recommendation from a friend, It was a great decision. The "drone" performs as it should. Great product! I would recommend it. Get the "DJI - Mavic Pro Quadcopter Fly More Combo" you get more bang for your buck.

I have not really flown the Mavic that much. When I have, it was awesome and great fun. I use an iPad Mini 4 and it works beautifully. My problem is that I am afraid to fly the Mavic to high or too far for fear of loss or damage. $1,000 is quite a lot to lose to have some fun. Then again, there are people who have done some amazing video with the Mavic. In the right hands and with a reliable drone this little beauty can hold its own and more. I guess it depends on how risky you want to be. Size is great. Folds right up nice and tight. Remember to put the gimbal lock on the camera when not in use, and remove it before powering back on. Lastly, don't fly with the clear plastic dome over the camera. The video will be distorted and shadows of the props will be visible. Fly responsibly! Don't invade people's privacy and don't fly where a loss of power or other malfunction could result in your drone hurting somebody or damaging property. Don't be a jerk. Be respectful.

The mavic has become industry standard for a good reason it is easy to operate and just works. Great photos and functionality

Switched from a professional 3 to the Mavic. Great handling, better picture, obviously smaller and more convenient to pack around.

It is my first drone and I was able to fly it with no problem. It's return to home button is convenient. Excellent product that folds up for easy storage or portability.

Best place to purchase this drone. The sales guy really spent time answering my questions and concerns. Easiest drone to fly, from beginner to professional. The camera is so stable, and produces super clear video and stills. I have recommended this drone to my friends and anyone thinking about purchasing one. Be sure to research all laws and rules to flying, and always do your preflight check. This is not a toy. Has unbelievable flight capabilities. Do your homework about this drone and you will not be dissappoiinted.
