Easy to fly right out of the box. The auto flying features are great. It folds up small to take with you anywhere.

Since this is a Christmas gift, I will not be able to say anything about the product being used by us, but I do have to say the reviews were very helpful in my decision to buy this product.

I entered this with two issues.. #1: I have purchased only "Parrot" drones and have been very disappointed.. I don't want to "learn" how to fly.. I want to have fun and fly.. this is the drone... it has beginner mode which really helped me.. #2: I want something that is 'future-proofed'..It protects you and protects itself at the same time.. Who wants to crash $1000? Not me. I don't feel that I will and I love all the features that this drone offers me.

Bought this for my husband for his birthday, he loves it! Easy and user friendly for someone who has never flown a drown. Be ready to purchase the insurance from dji and the license to fly.

Extremely easy to fly. However, there is quite a bit of documentation to read and videos to watch before being confident enough to shoot your own videos from the craft. The first time I flew it, I misunderstood the directions and assumed I had to keep my finger pressed on the button to shoot a video. I wound up merely taking a snapshot as my finger effectively pressed the on/off button twice thereby turning it on and then immediately off.

I bought this for a gift and he's like it and act like a little kid in toy store. He's learned how to use it and one of his friends tha has another brand who use it for professional use said that the camera on this one IS AWESOME!!! It's great except the battery life is very short,I think it only charges about 23 minutes, which is not long you would have to buy a couple of batteries if you were planning on using it longer.

After getting the initial set-up complete, this drone is easy to fly & takes great pictures & videos.

This drone does everything that it says it does; although I have not yet tried the automated flying features such as tap to fly. I have been having a lot of fun with it as I am getting acquainted with how to fly a drone for cinematic filming. The drone has had a limited range less than a mile, but that may be due to a lot of interference in town. This is my first drone and it is very easy to fly if you take the time to know its features.

This is such a wonderful and a great drone for a beginner like me. I had been thinking of getting me a drone for a long time but I had been hesitant to get one for some reason. If not for a great big trip I am doing in December, I would not have dared getting this. I had no problem starting this and calibrating it as well. This drone is so handy and is so simple to operate. I am sure I will get great videos and pictures with this.

Many buyers of the Mavic Pro have written and explained what a great drone this is. I won't repeat any of that. Instead do this to get the most use and enjoyment out of this fantastic piece of technology. Take the time to view the many tutorials on You Tube that explain the amazing features this drone has to offer. The best videos I found were posted by the following people. Drone Valley, Ready-Set-Drone, Timothy Sunday. Ed Ricker, Billy Kyle and last but not least DJI Tutorials. These people will give you the confidence needed to get the most out of your drone and also what accessories you should buy to protect your drone from damage. In my opinion because the drone sits so close to the ground a landing pad which will prevent dirt from getting sucked into your drone and protect your delicate gimbal when landing in the grass or dirt is a must. A aftermarket gimbal cover with an opening in front of the camera lense adds more protection for the gimbal without blocking the cooling fans air intake. Landing gear extenders raise the drone and add 1 1/4" to it's ground clearance which is more than double. If you fly indoors or outside near trees, a set of propeller guards is a good investment. Finally in addition to the 1 year standard warranty covering factory defects, DJI offers a "Care" package for $99 which amounts to insurance that will replace your drone up to twice if you destroy it in a crash or drowned it in water for a deductible of $79 the first time and $129 the second. Follow my advice and learn from the available videos while you wait for your Mavic to arrive or as soon thereafter as possible and you will be very happy with your new drone.
