I didn't do an extensive amount of research before purchasing the DJI Mavic Pro. I didn't have to. Every single resource I reviewed mentioned the Mavic Pro (and did so as the best overall). Very easy to begin using. Can't wait to get better. It's extremely important to protect the gimbal motor (which moved the camera around). I had to return and replace mine. But, BestBuys service desk did an amazing job making things right.

This is one of the best drones ever. Compact enough to fit in my backpack and the camera is wonderful.

Was nervous about spending so much on a drone until i saw my neighbor chick flying one. Figured what the heck, I can do it, so I bought one. Darn thing was real easy to learn despite the lack of instructions. I did get caught up in some tree limbs the other day and mucked up my props but everything else was safe. Very satisfied with my purchase and recommend this puppy to anyone wanting to get into this hobby.

The Mavic is a great drone for those who are getting started but has all the right features for the experienced pilots. Very easy to set up and get flying. One important thing if you do purchase....make sure the Mavic and remote have the most current software updates. If not updated you will have connection issues grounding your flight, I also purchased the ND Filters which add to the already incredible camera quality. A must have!

This drlne has taken my photography to the next level, I love the compact design, this enables me to have it with me in my same camera bag.. I would definitely recommend it...

What can I say that hasn't already been said. This thing kicks the snot out of my old A.R. Drone 2.0. I like it a lot. It's not as fast a s a Phantom 4, but it's a lot easier to transport. I have it tucked into an old Pelican 1200 case that I had laying around. It's a snug fit and there is not room for the charger. But I can put that in my pocket. My only gripe with it is the tap to focus. It can be a little annoying at times.

I bought this drone after months of reviews. I did not really want to spend this much on a drone. After many reviews of other drones, I chose this one based on Battery life, travel distance, and other owner's reviews. As soon as I took it out of the box, I was able to fly with no issue. The GPS allows for great hovering. The controls are very responsive and the software makes the drone hard to lose if it is out of sight. My only reason for not giving a 5 is the camera. I wish it had a better camera or the option to upgrade the camera at a later date. The camera is good and clear, but I would like to have a better zoom and/or the option to switch the camera out based upon needs. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recomend this drone to others

if you've never seen the DJI Mavic Pro in person, it is smaller than you can imagine and the build quality is more superior than you can imagine. This is the perfect drone. It shoots stunning 4K video and you don't have to lug around a suitcase to bring it to locations. Highly Recommended
