Best drone yet easy to fly small and folds up even smaller very steady too

Bought this for my son as an early wedding gift. He went to Iceland with his buddies and created a stunning travelogue. The Mavic flew flawlessly through challenging terrain; captured thrilling and otherwise unattainable views and motion clips; and it's return-to-home guidance worked perfectly in narrow passages. Don't leave home without it!

This was a Father's Day gift to my husband last year and he almost cried. He'd wanted one for a while and finally got it. He likes it a lot and it is the center of attention wherever we go. The Mavic takes great pictures and capture moments like you wouldn't believe. We took it to Hawaii with us and was able to capture us climbing Kokohead mountain. Amazing.

I upgraded from Phantom 3 Std to Mavic Pro for many reasons, including the Mavic's sensor system to avoid crashes (as long as it's moving forward), better control and also camera quality. The Mav performs flawlessly. I am now considering getting FAA Commercial Drone Certification. The Phantom 4 Pro was my 2nd choice but because if it's size, I went with the Mavic Pro.

So this is my first real drone. It is amazingly easy to set up and get to flying. It doesn't take long to get confident flying it. The GPS and avoidance feature are great. My only complaint would be I wish it had a screen instead of using my phone since I have to take it out of the case. I am planning on getting a used phone to use strictly for this.

It takes a little time to get both the controller and drone updated. It worked better for me just plugging them into my mac and doing the update using the dji assistant 2 app. took about an hour then charged everything up and away I went. The pro handles great and a lot of useful features. Its a nice starter drone or for a little more experienced flyer.

I purchased this before ever purchasing any other drone before. I read the reviews and actually got a chance to test one of my buddies Mavic Pro's. There are many tips and tricks to this and if you use it to your full potential you can get some amazing videos and pics out of it. I recommend sunrise or sundown shoots, the colors captured on that camera are amazing!

Took a little bit to figure it out since I was a beginner but I did a lot of research before buying this drone and am glad I did. The pictures are amazing and video is as well. Follow feature is super cool. Purchased it mainly to get good videos of my drag racing. Now I just have to teach someone else to use it so I can get what I bought this for.

I've had the Mavic Pro for over a year and have really enjoyed it. They have since released the Mavic Platinum, but I have no experience with it. This drones size and portability has been a game changer in the drone industry. DJI is the leader in drones and puts out reliable products. I would highly recommend this drone for it's ease of use and good price.

This is an awesome drone that is a powerful tool. The flying and photo performance are impressive. You’ll get your money’s worth if you’re looking to capture any aerial pictures or video. We use it for kids sports, vacation memories, aerials of homes, etc. It is crazy stable even in winds up to 30 MPH and is very predictable. Great product.

Excellent drone; everything you bargained for and more. Package “Fly Mire” was a great purchase that expanded my new drone owner experience.

Easy to use, great video and fun. Takes a good while to master

Very responsive but still working on image quality. I work in the tv and film industry, I have been trying to get an entry level drone that can I can learn to fly and still get decent images. I thinks this is a great option although the price tag doesn't match what I have yet to come out with. I feel this may change once I purchase some ND filters but I'm not sure on which ones to get. I consider myself a best 'bang for buck' shopper, and think this purchase made sense. I have never flown and really wanted to learn to fly. Resale value on used mavics does not drop too much as of 07/01/2017 but I'm sure that will change soon as a new 4k drone from dji is released.
