I have a Sony a7iii, which this is supposed to be compatible with. I've tried everything to get it to work with my camera to no avail. I tried installing firmware updates and the cord that comes with it doesn't work. It wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't spent probably 7 hours so far trying to figure these problems out. Very tiresome dealing with DJI.

Bought the mic 2 and in the first video we shot with this mic the output jack quit working. It worked when we tested it and it worked for the first 15 minutes of the shoot. During Editing we realized the audio stopped for the last 30 minutes. You cannot trust the sound bar on the receiver as it shows the audio is working but it is not. This seems to be a huge problem with DJI at the moment and there is no solution after a month of several complaints. This completely destroyed our best video of the year since we cannot reshoot live events. So angry about this!!!!!!!

The "Get it by" date Is a JOKE. Best Buy advertises delivery date 2 days out, turns over shipment to UPS late, ships it 3-day ground, then blames UPS for the delayed shipment.

UPS failed to send it twice! So it returned to sender. Called Best Buy twice. First they said they have it and it’s being processed. Called again over a week later and now they said they are waiting on it? It’s going on 3 weeks now or close to a month since I ordered it. Come on now. Now it will be at least another week after they decides to process the return till I get my money back. Customer service doesn’t seem to be meeting the standards at all.

I am a wedding videographer, I bought these mics in July after reading so many good reviews and the hype about the 32bit. I have TRIED to use these at several weddings but they're insanely unreliable. You can search reddit and other forums and you'll find the same complaints everywhere but DJI doesn't appear to have a fix. And if you're outside of the narrow 30 day window B&H will not let you return them. (IMO 30 days isn't enough time to establish if a product works for most photographers and videographers..) The mics are unreliable, and for someone who does weddings - reliability is key! Wedding audio is a once in a lifetime moment, huge moments in someone's life that cannot just be re-recorded unreliable audio recording is a major issue! Here's a list of the reoccurring issues I have had with this system: More often than not, only get 1 of the 2 transmitters will connect to the receiver. The transmitters only work with certain Lav's, and there doesn't seem to be any consistency with which they work. One day I used a Tascam Lav and the transmitter fed into the receiver just fine. The very next weekend the same set up wouldn't work with a Lav at all. As soon as I unplugged the Lav the transmitter started feeding to the receiver again. Then I tried a Rhode Lav, same issue. Recently, the transmitters themselves have just stopped recording altogether. If I press the record button it blinks red once and vibrates. (If it were recording, it would vibrate then the light would be constant red. The single red blink means it's not recording) This weekend the transmitter actually stopped recording HALFWAY THROUGH A CEREMONY and I lost all of the audio for the later half of the wedding. The next day at a different wedding, it wouldn't record at all and I had to break out my back up gear. I have done firmware updates, emptied the transmitters of any previous recordings and am still coming up with the same issues. I am beside myself with frustration. If you shoot weddings or any other event that is a one and done, can't be re-recorded event. DO NOT BUY THESE!
