My first drone and still learning. This is a great drone for the beginner. Watch YouTube videos from those who’ve used it to get tips. Highly recommend this as an affordable first drone to learn before investing in a more costly drone. Creates stunning video. May not have all the bells and whistles as the mini 3 or other even higher-end drones, but it gives you the basics needed to learn. If your new to drone flying, DJI has done a good job making the mini 2 almost idiot proof. Best of all, if you’re unlucky to crash or lose it, you’re not out thousands. If you’re debating getting the mini2 or the mini3 consider the mini2 as a good learning drone and one that is plentifully available. After you have mastered the mini2, working the mini3 or other models should be a easy.

Great drone! It has excellent range and the quality is amazing. Camera has great quality although dynamic range is not the best. I would buy the Mini 3 Pro if I could buy it again.

I just absolutely love my drone! It's so small and easy to carry, but when flying it's a monster! It has so much quality when recording. And I was impressed with its wind resistance. Every time I think it's too windy to fly it, it's actually not. Super worth it!

Pricey but well worth it. this is the easiest drone I've ever flown. I've had three. Stable hover, excellent distance and brilliant camera. Return to home feature gets you out of a bind. Comes with three batteries.

This drone has been pretty incredible. I was expecting it to be finicky like the toy drones which also tend to crash. DJI built in a lot of automation which allows you to concentrate on just shooting video and capturing photos. It's very easy to fly and can handle high winds. The DJI Fly App is pretty well put together and the camera is quite good. The only improvement with the camera I would have liked is HDR as sometimes the sky can be overexposed when angling the camera down. It can take multiple shots with different exposures and you can manually overlay and stitch the two photos together if you like however. Range is also pretty crazy. When on a mountain top or over the water, I can easily get 1.5 miles out.

Great product, especially considering the small and compact size. The fly more combo pack is very much worth it as it allows you to fly for longer, equaling more time for fun. The range, distance, camera quality, everything makes this a very fun and capable drone.

Okay so I bought this DJI drone for my husband for Christmas…I wanted a quality drone that didn’t feel like a toy or operate one! My husband is almost 40, he wanted quality not a toy. I didn’t know a thing about drones but I wanted it to be a suprise! I asked the Best Buy guy to help me and he recommended this one… when I tell you, my husband (the HARDEST PERSON EVER TO IMPRESS- or to surprise) was not only surprised but was very impressed!!! The quality of the drone is VERY good! The pictures and videos are very clear! The app is super easy to use. It’s most DEFINITELY not a toy! But it also didn’t cost me thousands of bucks!! My husband said he LOVES it so to me that’s a HUGE thing! He doesn’t impress easily! Way to go DJI and thanks for making a product that made my husband smile on Christmas! Btw he uses it practically daily now!!!!

This little Drone is fast and nimble. It has been fun to use and has takes great picture and videos. video is in 4k I wish it had obstacle avoidance. the range is awesome as well This is a great first drone for somewhere small and compact.

The Mini 2 is awesome. Really easy to set up, has the features I was looking for in a first drone and the price doesn't break the bank. Is it perfect? No, but it is pretty excellent. Flyability is great haven't had any issues with high winds, so far. The only downfalls are the set picture profile (no option for any log profiles) and the lack of proximity sensors. You really have to gain some confidence before doing anything too risky, but it is not intimidating to start it up for your first flight. The footage straight from the drone is great and it's a nice portable size and is not obnoxious and attention grabbing when flying. Flight time feels like it's a bit quick; I would say it feels more like 20 minutes if flight time and time flies when you're having fun. Overall, pleased with the drone, accessories of the fly more combo, and image quality.

I've been wanting a drone for many years... wistfully watching drone reviews and dreaming of the day I would spend $1500 to get a proper drone... then the youtube reviews of the Mini 2 showed up and I was blown away... Having over 6-mile connectivity, 4k video, less than 250 grams in weight (which allows you to bypass the need to get a pilot's license in certain areas), and then finally the price... I couldn't resist .... Now, I am unbelievably happy as I have discovered how easy these are to fly. I am over 60 yrs of age and my first drone flight with nobody to help guide me went off without a hitch. Love this product!! the perfect combination of everything I was looking for. The only feature that might entice me to upgrade in the future would be a drone that has collision avoidance and a follow-me feature. It will be awhile though before I head down that path.

This drone is crazy easy to use. I love it and have taken some very cool pics with it!!

This drone is just incredible. Solid battery life, and a surprisingly long range. I have yet to take it far enough for it to disconnect and auto return home, but I have flown it several neighborhoods down from my house without any perceived signal loss. The picture quality is spectacular once you fiddle with the settings a bit. While the DJI mini 3 has a larger aperture and sensor, the DJI mini 2 is absolutely the choice for people starting to get serious with drone photography. It has all the features you need at a price point that has only gotten more affordable with the mini 3's release.

Awesome drone. Perfect blend of portability, usability, and quality. Great run time, range and quality camera. Only downside is lack of some automated features more expensive drones have but other than that, perfect!

This drone is perfect for anyone wanting to start droning. 4K camera. Small size. And easy to control. The drone can bear a fair share of wind too! I especially love the camera quality. The fly more combo is always a must.

How much easier can it get to start flying a good quality drone? It can't if it's anything other than the Mini 2. High quality pictures, easy flying characteristics and decent flying time, all in one drone that "flies under the radar" of FAA and probably most local regulations. Of course, you'll have to abide by local rules and the standard laws of flying anything remotely over people, property, roadways, etc. But weighing just under 250g saves you the trouble of registering with the FAA and obtaining a basic theory certification. Simply open the box, set up the equipment and app, and off you go with a flying camera!

You need to get this drone before it sells out. I believe it will be hard to find later because you do not have to register it with the FAA, because it falls under the weight requirement. I am a novice, but did own the original Spark which was a WiFi drone. The first DJI Mini was WiFi also. The Mini-2 uses Ocusync 2.0 which allows flights, potentially out to 6 miles. That said, you must be familiar with visual line of sight (VLOS) regulation by the FAA. Basically you have to be able to see your drone at all times while flying (sigh). I live in an HOA community, so always check with your local regulations about flying drones in your neighborhood. My HOA didn’t have any. Be sure to get KittyHawk & B4UFLY apps that will help you fly safely. The camera allows 4K video up to 30 FPS and 1080P at 60 FPS. Simply put, this is the best pocket drone on the market right now and DJI hit a home run with this drone. Highly recommend it and safe flying to everyone!

I'll be honest, this gift wasn't for my wife or family. Daddy wanted a drone. For a while. It's incredibly easy to set up (but initial battery charging of all three {yes, THREE batteries! Bonus!} takes a bit. Remember to update firmware before your first flight - plan that little time suck. The photos, though, are great! Videos are sharp, crisp and clear. The drone handles well via your smart phone. And the extras! Props, batteries, the carry case and options of connect cables for C, mini USB and iPhone connections., Yes. Treat yourself. You know you want to!

Love this Drone, Easy to use and control I am starting out photography, and this is my first drone. I did not want to spend too much money, and this drone was under my budget and can produce the results.
