This drone was and still is my favorite purchase ever. The 4k at 30 fps abd the 2.7k at 60 fps is breathtaking. Whenever I go somehwere new i throw it in the car, just in case I have a chance to fly it. The price scared me at first, but I decided to go for it, with the more fly combo. Trust me, the more fly combo is 100000% the way to go, and the price anxiety will disapear once you fly your first flight. Buy it, it will be worth it.

I thoroughly researched the best drones for entry-level pilots and landed on the Mini 2 for it's many advanced features and its high quality camera. After two weeks of nearly daily flying while learning the "ropes", I can honestly say I feel like I made the right choice. Here are the main reasons why: PROS: -- Extremely lightweight and small for portability and flexibility in choosing locations to fly (doesn't require FAA registration in most states) -- Flies smoothly and is stable in moderately windy conditions -- Compares favorably with its bigger brother the Mavic 2 for about half the cost -- Utilizes the same RC unit as the Mavic 2 for a economical option to upgrade, if desired (utilizes post-purchase accessories like sun shades, tablet adapters, cables, etc.) -- The DJI Fly App is well-designed, intuitive and stable, even on older devices (using iOS version; don't know about Android) -- Excellent camera; 4K/30fps for video, very stable gimbal, compatible with many third-party ND filters to really capture high end footage and stills in all light conditions CONS: -- Doesn't offer tracking or true following due to lack of obstacle sensors (to keep the total weight under FAA registration reqs) *There are some nice Quick Shot presets that you can use to hack this up to a point. -- The Intelligent batteries have failed to deliver anything close to the advertised 31 minutes at full charge; closer to 15 minutes max in my experience (be forewarned that you are ill-advised to leave batteries in either their multi charger or the drone itself when not in use as it can severely diminish their full capacity; there's is no mention of this in the manual, but DJI has confirmed this is the case) SUGGESTIONS: -- If you have any vision challenges, I suggest you plan on using an approved tablet for running the Fly App; even my iPhone 12 Pro Max display is too small; I've upgraded to a iPad Mini Gen 5, which is the perfect size though a bit top heavy when mounted to the RC; you'll need a tablet adapter (CYNOVA Pro ($33) and a tablet sun shade (Hanatora 7-8.4 Inch Monitor Tablet Sun Hood Shade for DJI Mini 2 - $20) and a longer cable to connect RC to tablet (Hanatora 11.8 Inch USB C to iOS Remote Controller Cable - $12) -- Definitely go with the Fly More Combo option. The case and the extra batteries and multi-charger are really not optional; haven't needed the extra props yet, but I feel more confident knowing I have them with me. Hope this review is helpful. I highly recommend the Mini 2. Start slowly and cautiously in large open spaces like school athletic fields until you build up your confidence and piloting skills. That grows rather quickly with frequent practice. The more confident you become, the more fun you'll experience.

Wow. Received my DJI Mini 2 yesterday. Charged the batteries and the hand controller. Went out today by a near by French fort (1712) at a junction of two large rivers. Went to a big field to try her out. Now it's the first time I have held or seen a drone fly besides you tube. No operating manual came with it so watched you tube videos while everything was being charged. The controller comes with a pre-flight checklist program. Everything went fine. Took her up to 400 feet what a view of the landscape. Awesome. Buying the combo was well worth it. 3 batteries! I fooled around about 1 1/2 hrs getting the feel of flying it. Once I feel real comfortable with it I will dedicate time to filming. I did make a small clip like 180 feet above the fort with the river in view. Good picture

I love how I can sync my iPad to the controller so the drone video is bigger and I can then use my iPhone as a phone. Recommend you buy a landing pad because it is so cool the way the drone “memorizes” where it took off from so it can come right back to that spot. I labeled my controller so I remember what stick makes the drone go where. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a great lightweight, compact drone. It's super easy to use with automated take off and land. The light gray color blends in well with the sky so it's stealthy. It's not super loud and does well in light winds. It takes good pictures but the camera is very sensitive and easily catches dust. It has settings that allow for hands free operation. The hardest thing to do was to set up the app to control the drone. Works well with Apple and Android devices. I'm a first time user and I am very happy with this purchase. Just wish the battery lasted a bit longer. Highly recommend getting the combo as a single battery is not enough. The case is super convenient.

Purchased this small drone at my local Thousand Oaks Best Buy. Have had limited time to fly it, but in the first test flight, it was super easy to fly, and the 4K video was nice and crisp! I flew in moderately windy conditions, and it handled the wind very well, for being such a small drone. Looking forward to more flights!

Over the last several years, I have flown and sold my DJI Phantom for Mavic Pro and then sold that to try the mini 2. I hated to give up the follow me modes and avoidance sensors, but the size and portability of this drone sold me. I have put about 6 batteries worth of flights into it so far and am very impressed. The specs say it is roughly 6 mph slower than the mavic, but it feels like it's 15 mph faster! I guess it's the small size that makes it seem faster. I didn't enjoy it, but for the sake of testing the mini 2 capabilities, I took it out during some nasty weather this week. I believe the temp was 28F (below recommended flying temp) and the constant wind speed was 8 mph with 15+ mph gusts at ground level. The more powerful motors could be seen fighting the wind with some pretty serious tilting of the drone, but it held its position perfectly and the wind was not visible at all on the video footage. I would definitely recommend this drone to anyone interested in flying as a hobby and is willing to give up a few tech features for smaller size. Considering the premium the extra features cost, it seems like a no brainer for anyone looking for a hobby drone.

Perfect size and perfect combo. Exactly what I wanted in a new drone. Quick to take out and enough flight time with all the batteries to keep it in the air. The pictures this take are top notch and like all dji drones it’s easy to operate. The bag it comes with is nice but you can put all this in your backpack easy.

I LOVE THIS DRONE! I had purchased a cheap drone prior to this thinking that it would get me by in some photography and video projects I was doing for a client. But this is a necessity and I ended up buying this and I’m glad i did. It is so stable; easy to use; and takes incredible photo and video. I love it!

Awesome little drone. Great video quality and easy to use

I have now been using this drone for about 6 months and even though I have larger drones, this one is my favourite. It's easy to carry around and set up quickly. I can have it flying in under 2 minutes. It can be flown and relatively high wind up to about 30 miles per hour. It's camera is a reliable 4K.

Love this Drone. Very stable when flying it and the video quality is amazing. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who works in the video shooting industry. The remote control is much better than the previous edition. It maintains a good distance range that allows more opportunity for video shooting.

Love this little aircraft. Didn’t think it could fly or go so far. But it did that and more. Way better than any drone I’ve had before for a way affordable price. Should be charging more for this. But then again I don’t want to pay more as it’s just perfectly sized and priced. Thanks. Highly recommended.

Husband loves it, takes great photos, and easy to learn

I recently purchased the DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo Quadcopter with Remote Controller and I must say I am thoroughly impressed with this drone. The Fly More Combo comes with everything you need to get started and the drone itself is incredibly easy to set up and use. The Mini 2 is small and lightweight, making it easy to take with me on the go. The camera quality is excellent, producing stunning 4K footage and sharp images. The gimbal stabilization system ensures that my shots are smooth and steady, even in windy conditions. The battery life is impressive, with each battery providing around 30 minutes of flight time, and the included charging hub makes it easy to charge multiple batteries at once. Unbelievable value for the money! Six months into ownership and over fifty flights and I'm still learning new tricks (which is easy thanks to the video tutorials loaded in the app). I have flown on fairly windy days and the picture quality is still almost pro-grade. No shakes, buttery smooth. And I have flown nearly 400 feet up and 3/4 of a mile away while sitting in my garage (easier to see screen out of the sun). Had I been outside, the distance could've been increased. When I pushed it to its limits, I lost the GPS signal and it merely returned home on its own. It's worth having the extra batteries. It also returns to home when the battery is low. I pop in another and return to what I was doing. I have yet to replace the wings but they are there when I need them. The capabilities this has at the price point is unbelievable.

This drone is incredibly reliable & easy to operate. I love DJI & have multiple drones from the company. They are great for photography & real estate pictures or If you just wanna fly around & have fun. 10/10 do recommend.
