This was my first drone. Very easy to get used to and the quality of the controller screen and footage in general is immaculate.

WOW! The DJI Mini 3 is really pretty incredible. This package comes with 2 extra batteries, which you will definitely need. On a full charge I found that the batteries lasted about 20 minutes each rather than the advertised 30 minutes. Set up of the device was quite difficult for some reason. The app gave instructions for the Mini 3 Pro instead of the Mini 3 which created some confusion. I was finally able to get it figured out and did get it set up properly. I also had a little bit of issue getting the unit and remote control to connect with each other, but after a few tries they did eventually find each other. Once set up, firmware updated, and batteries charged, I was ready for my first flight. I was amazed at the relative ease of controlling the unit. I have used smaller/lighter drones a great deal and they are fun but can be a handful. Even in mildly windy conditions this unit did a good job maintaining its flight path. The camera is absolutely amazing. Be aware there are some added costs when purchasing this unit. You will have to register with the FAA ($5), you will need to purchase a mini-SD card to record footage from the drone if you intend to do that. It really should come with one but does not. Though it was advertised to include extra propellors my box did not. Also no power cube is included, though 2 very short usb c cords are included.

Great drone. Its easy to fly and use. And having the bundle makes for a lot of flight time.

I recently got the drone bug again after a multi-year break. I had used the Phantom 2 size and then a 5 propeller called a Yuneex Typhoon I believe. Both much larger, but I find the little mini very easy to fly, very convenient and plenty stable for my use. Obviously video and photo capability has come a long way. Highly recommend for casual user - that's me, so that is the perspective from which I am equipped to review.

Amazing drone looking for wind and hail damage. The guidance avoidance system aid a novice like me and the 4k pics allow me to see wind and hail damage so that there is very little need for me to actually jump on a roof. Highly recommended. I'm probably only scratching the surface with this unit but it has only been a couple weeks.

My wife surprised me with the DJI mini 3 drone. This drone is easy to fly right out of the box. A lot of YouTube videos online to get you started and familiar with all of the features. I have a new hobby. Love it.

Easy to fly and has many resources. Unfortunately not appropriated for indoors flying,but for outdoors it's great. This should be your very first drone.

One of the great features of this model is also the cause of one of its biggest drawbacks. The controller now features a built-in touchscreen so you no longer need to connect your phone to see what's going on. However, that also means there's no memory storage in the controller to save photos or videos. You must have a (micro) SD card in the drone to record content, but if you want to transfer that content off the drone you also need an SD card in the controller. You can view the drone's content on the controller, but you can't get it off the drone. If there's a card in the controller, you can transfer the content to the controller, then use a QR code to set up a wireless link to your phone to transfer it off. But without that card in the controller, you can't wirelessly transfer content directly from the drone to your phone. So you either need two cards to move your content wirelessly, or you need to remove the card from the drone and read it directly on another device. If you don't plan on creating content to share, not needing a phone is nice. You can do everything on the controller, including browsing the video guides for operating the drone (if you're on a WiFi network). The picture is quite clear, and the touchscreen works fine, though it doesn't have great visibility in direct sunlight. So, this is a great all-in-one package, as long as you're willing to purchase two SD cards, or you don't plan on sharing content.

Great product, worth the extra money to get a DJI rather than lesser known drone.
