The upgrade for the obstacle sensor is a significant improvement. Especially for the remote pilots that use waypoints. Remote control and the academy help you a lot to understand how to work with the drone. I recommend this one.

Battery life is not so long, but it does the job. Would recommend getting the battery pack deal. Really durable designed, excellent for first time drone buyers.

I've only used it twice so far (due to the cold weather in nyc) but so far so good. wayy better on battery and overall flight time compared to my old GoPro Karma drone. i've made it go a mile + from me in the initial flight with little transmission distortion. the RC2 remote control is very responsive, with a clear screen to view the flight from. the drone itself is small, light and compact to take on any travel. the omnidirectional system is on point, as well as the camera itself (can record video up to 4K 60-100 frames per second. there's still so much detail to learn from the drone. well worth the money. go out and purchase this drone.

DJI Mini 4 Pro: The Drone That's More Reliable Than My Wi-Fi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I got the DJI Mini 4 Pro as a birthday present, and let's just say it's the best gift I've ever received—mostly because it doesn't complain when I spend too much time with it. This little flying gizmo is a game-changer. It's like having a tiny helicopter that you can control with your phone, minus the ridiculous training and a license. First flight, and the Mini 4 Pro took off like it had a point to prove. It zipped around my yard faster than my neighbor's dog chasing squirrels. The 4K camera captured every moment in crystal-clear detail, which is great because now I can finally prove that my cat is plotting world domination from the top of the fence. The obstacle avoidance system is also top-notch. This drone dodges trees, walls, and power lines like a champ. It's basically the Chuck Norris of drones. Honestly, it's more reliable at avoiding obstacles than I am at avoiding awkward conversations. Battery life is surprisingly good, too. It gives me enough time to fly around the neighborhood, pretend I'm a secret agent, and get back before anyone starts asking questions. Plus, the Mini 4 Pro's return-to-home feature is so accurate, it found its way back to me even when I accidentally flew it into the neighbor's BBQ party. (Pro tip: Don't fly drones near BBQ parties unless you're prepared to get an invite. Spoiler: I got some ribs out of it.) Overall, the DJI Mini 4 Pro is a fantastic drone that even a complete amateur like me can fly without accidentally turning it into a really expensive paperweight. The DJI Mini 4 Pro was by far the best drone I’ve ever used. The camera quality, obstacle avoidance, and flight performance were top-notch. It handled strong winds surprisingly well for such a lightweight drone, and the intelligent flight modes made capturing cinematic shots effortless. Battery life was solid, and the compact size made it super convenient to carry around. Unfortunately, my time with it was cut short when an eagle decided it wasn’t welcome in its airspace and crashed right into it mid-flight! The drone didn’t stand a chance against nature’s apex aerial predator. Thankfully, Best Buy refunded my money, so now I’m just waiting for the DJI Mini 5 Pro—hopefully with “eagle avoidance” this time! If you’re looking for the best drone in its class, the Mini 4 Pro is the one to get (just watch out for birds of prey).

This is my first "nice" drone and it's been a great purchase so far. I got it to take a group picture of us at my work for an event and it performed great (you know how grumpy people are when they're told to form up for pictures) - it was over and done with in less than 3 minutes. Opting for the remote with the built-in screen was definitely the way to go for me. Having to connect a phone and introducing another potential layer for problems would probably keep me from flying as readily/often. The screen looks great and has been plenty visible even in direct sunlight. The drone's foldable arms and included protecting cover for the camera/gimbal and props are very much appreciated (we have cats). Initial setup didn't take very long and all subsequent flights are ready to go in the time it takes to turn on the remote & drone (plus get a GPS lock if you want RTH function). Flying this drone is a cinch and its crash detection features give me some comfort (still not going to be flying close to obstacles, though, just in case - it won't be able to detect power line wires, etc.) It wiggles a little trying to hold its position in slightly strong wind, but that's to be expected for a drone of this size & weight. Takeoff and landing have all been flawless and the video & picture functions are easy to use once you have the settings where you want them. The tracking functions are fantastic - just bear in mind it won't see and think like humans; it can lose you if you move too fast or erratically or get some obstructions between yourself and the drone. Transferring images and video from the drone was as easy as connecting any other camera or SD card to my computer. Flight time has been good, at least for my limited recreational flying. And the quality of the videos and images I've taken have been excellent. You wouldn't necessarily make a high-def film with this particular drone, but it more than serves for recreational use. If you want a light, capable drone, consider this one!

This is probably the best mini drone on the market right now. Has great transmission system, awesome battery life, and incredible camera. Its so lightweight and portable, it even fits in your pocket! There are no other complaints, it simply has all the features you can ask for. The major one being the omnidireccional obstacle avoidance, which allows for piece of mind when flying sideways. All in all a great drone that you wont regret buying!

BEST drone ever! This is my first real drone. I researched extensively and the camera upgrade on this over the the mini 3 pro is hands down worth the money. With full 360 obstacle avoidance you can fly with confidence. Pay the extra and get the RC-2 controller. Having a built in screen makes life so much easier. Very easy to set up and was easy to learn the basics to fly.

Sleek design. Very easy to use once you practice a bit. Compact and quiet for a drone. The picture/video quality is amazing. We use this to capture aerial footage of our construction sites. The batteries could last longer, but it is worth being underweight for FAA regulations. I recommend getting the case with extra batteries at minimum.

Absolutely wonderful product. I have been flying RC for 30+ years including many custom multirotors. This is the first ready to use DJI product I have purchased and it is impressive. Extremely easy to use and has a lot of impressive features like autonomous GPS flight. it makes excellent videos however the still picture quality is just OK. Also I did have a quality issue and DJI replaced my unit by mail in 1 day. Excellent customer service.
