Ordered drone which cost over 1200$, fedex claimed they delivered my order (did not receive) i contacted FedEx asking why would they deliver a item with such value without without a signature being required. They advised me to contact best buy. Best buy gave me the run around for over a month constantly telling me my refund would be coming then once i contacted then again they cancelled my refund. Now im working with my bank to get my money back. I will never ever purchase from this merchant again

    Small Drone with HUGE Capabilities

My last drone was a DJI Phantom 4, and I’d resisted the trend toward smaller drones, but finally took the plunge with the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo Plus Drone and RC 2 Remote Controller. Out of the box, you have everything that you need to fly short of charging the batteries, updating the firmware (I had firmware updates for both the drone and the controller), creating your DJI account (I already had one) and signing in to your account via the controller. The controller then binds the drone to the controller, and you’re ready to go. Normally I take photos of anything that is remotely complicated, but there weren’t any! The only thing not included that you may want to add is a microSDXC card with UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and UHS Video Speed Class 30 (V30) for 4K UHD capabilities. The drone has onboard memory for recording, so it isn’t necessary, but I prefer keeping photos or videos on a removable media. The package comes with a DJI RC 2 (integrated display, so no more fumbling with a phone or tablet), the Mini 4, 3 Intelligent Flight batteries (one installed in the drone), a charging hub which will serially charge up to three batteries, and a very convenient shoulder bag which accommodates everything I just mentioned and is made from a nice grade of ballistic nylon. HUGE capabilities on the Mini 4. An f/1.7 aperture delivering 48MP still photos, and 4K/60fps or 4K/100fps slow motion (with support of D-Log M/HLG for amazing dynamic range). It supports a feature that DJI calls “MasterShots” where the subject is maintained at the center of the imaging while the drone maneuvers (try doing that by hand – it’s virtually impossible for most of us!). DJI states that the controller and drone can maintain connectivity out to 20km – that’s over 12 miles. I didn’t push it on my first test flight, I just went out about a half mile, but I had a great view of what the drone was seeing from the controller. DJI also specs omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, but I have not tried that other than during a landing attempt onto a surface on our deck, which it was persistently unwilling to do, so I’d have to say that feature gets a check mark. In summary, this is an amazingly capable drone for its price-point. I recommend it without hesitation for someone who wants a very capable drone that falls into the higher-end consumer market.

    Unlocking Aerial Creativity

The DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo Plus drone, paired with the RC 2 Remote Control featuring a built-in screen, represents a compelling package for drone enthusiasts and professionals alike. In this review, we'll explore the capabilities and features of this drone, assessing its performance, ease of use, and overall value. Design and Build Quality (4.5/5): The DJI Mini 4 Pro drone boasts a sleek and compact design, making it highly portable and easy to transport. The drone's gray finish exudes a modern and professional aesthetic. Build quality is robust, with a durable frame that can withstand minor bumps and collisions. However, it's important to handle it with care, as it's not as rugged as some larger, more robust drones. Performance (4/5): The Mini 4 Pro offers commendable performance for its size and weight. It features a 1-inch CMOS sensor capable of capturing 20-megapixel photos and 4K video at 30fps, ensuring sharp and vibrant visuals. The drone's flight time of approximately 30 minutes is quite respectable for its class, and its maximum speed of 45 mph allows for dynamic aerial photography and videography. Ease of Use (4.5/5): DJI's drones are known for their user-friendly interfaces, and the Mini 4 Pro is no exception. It offers intelligent flight modes, including Follow Me, Waypoints, and QuickShot, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced pilots. The RC 2 Remote Control with its built-in screen enhances the user experience, providing real-time monitoring and precise control of the drone's movements. However, some users may prefer the familiarity of controlling the drone with their smartphone or tablet. Remote Control with Built-in Screen (4/5): The RC 2 Remote Control's built-in screen is a standout feature of this combo. It offers convenience by eliminating the need to connect a separate device for monitoring. The screen provides clear visuals and responsive touch controls, but it's worth noting that it's not as large as some external tablet screens, which may affect visibility in bright sunlight. Portability (5/5): One of the Mini 4 Pro's most significant advantages is its compact size and foldable design. It easily fits into a backpack or carrying case, making it a travel-friendly drone for capturing stunning aerial shots on the go. This portability is a major selling point for adventurers and content creators. Value (4/5): The DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo Plus represents good value for the features and performance it offers. However, potential buyers should consider their specific needs and budget. While it excels in portability and ease of use, professional users may opt for larger drones with more advanced camera systems for specialized tasks. The DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo Plus, paired with the RC 2 Remote Control, is an impressive drone package that caters to a wide range of users, from hobbyists to content creators. Its compact design, strong performance, and user-friendly interface make it a compelling choice for capturing stunning aerial visuals. While it may not match the capabilities of higher-end drones in terms of camera quality and advanced features, it strikes a balance between portability and performance that is sure to appeal to many drone enthusiasts.

We bought this for all its features but we were not told that it is not compatible with Android phones accept Samsung S10 which is out if date. The Best Buy Company is selling these under false pretenses and niw we as consumers have to jump through hoops to get all our money back. Thats not good sales or services and I am about to pull my yearly membership because this is not the first time I have run into this nonsense with Best Buy.

Bought a Mini 4 Pro drone a few months ago. Right out of the box it was recording shaky video so badly it would give you a headache to watch it. Tried every adjustment to settings and nothing would fix it. Spoke to multiple DJI Tech Support representatives who were all unable to fix the issue. It has ruined many opportunities to shoot a good video and now it's being shipped back to DJI for repair. What an absolute piece of garbage for $1,000. Never again.

DJI makes garbage drones. Two DJI drones, two out of box defects. And the most that Total Tech has done for me is to promise me a no-stocking fee return, then not credit me when a restocking fee was assessed. Total Tech? More like Total WRECK!

Finally had an opportunity to fly!

We have been experiencing some weird weather lately in my area, where it's either snowing or raining, but I was finally able to fly my drone! I had a little bit of trouble setting up the app, and trying to get it to connect to the phone. I looked at the tutorial on the controller, and I even went online to see if I can figure something out. I finally figured out the problem, and I don't know if this is for everyone, but for me, the DJI app I downloaded for my android from play store, did not work all that well and wasn't as responsive as going to the DJI website itself, and downloading the app from there. As soon as I downloaded the app from their website, everything worked perfectly! Now the only problem I have is apparently my drone did not come charged at all, so I literally had to charge the drone and the remote for an entire day. Finally, after everything was charged and my phone was connected to the app without any issues, I was able to fly the drone. It took some gorgeous videos and pictures of a house that I have that's in preconstruction. I was able to switch from remote to my cell phone and upload all the videos and pictures that I taken that day, then send them to a few people. They were amazed at how clear the pictures were and how good the videos played. I thought it was really crazy at how looking up at the sky to see if I can see the drone, to see that you can't see it even in the clearest of skies when it's at a certain height. With it being such a windy day, I really didn't get to fly as far as I wanted to, to see how far it will go before the battery died. I had to set course for the drone to start coming back. I had a microSD card that I tried to install, but apparently it didn't work, so I have to go to Best Buy, and get another one, specifically for this drone. As a first time drone owner, I really really love this one I have now! I can't wait to get back out there tomorrow when it's a lot warmer and less windy, to see how far I can go with it! The only problem I've been having with it so far, is when it's time to return back to takeoff spot, It kind of hovers over an area that it wasn't even close to when it took off, and I have to guide it over so it doesn't hit anything, but it's real minor. If you've never owned a drone before and you own the fence, the DJI mini Pro 4 is definitely something that's worth every dollar you spend on it!

I stepped up to this unit from a Mini - 2 and wow - what a step up! Where to start???? Ok - I will start with the controller. My Mini-2 used my cell phone as the screen and this controller has a gorgeous display that is sharp and easily read even with my near-sighted vision. The control sticks are very similar in responsiveness and the controls are almost exactly the same which made for a shorter orientation. This kit includes three batteries and a multi-battery charger (but no wall wart), spare propellers and screws (already used one set - more later). Not included, but highly recommended is a sun cover for the controller, a neck strap for the controller, a set of ND filters (the ones from DJI are top notch), a wall wart (30 amp recommended), and a high capacity micro-SD card (I have a 512 GB SanDisk Extreme Pro). Also recommended are spare propellers (DJI brand for smoothness), a removable landing gear set, a foldable landing pad, and a case to carry all of this. The supplied case will only carry what is included and you will need a bigger purpose built case to carry everything else needed. I am still learning all the capabilities of this craft, and on my first flight, I put it into some small tree branches. The instructions tell you that it might not avoid these type of obstacles and my experience is proof it does not see small branches. It will avoid larger objects, but be careful around trees. I suspect that if it was leaf season, it might have avoided the tree. The camera resolution is stunning and I am still on a learning curve to learn more of it's capability, but have been hampered by weather and work schedules and not had as much time to fly as I wanted. I am certain I will continue to be amazed by it's capability. Battery flight time is almost exactly as DJI specifies. I am not sure I want to spend extra money for the extended range battery (and that puts it over 249 grams) for the few extra minutes they provide. I am happy with the range delivered. I have only used the auto return to home function once as the battery was near depletion and it worked exactly as advertised with about 2 minutes left to spare. This is a highly customizable drone while remaining a novice friendly package. It will allow you to obtain professional looking results from a drone that costs a fraction of the big boy drones. Take the time to read the manual TWICE before you fly and understand what it can and cannot do. Understand the limits of collision avoidance and don't put it in those situations if you can avoid it. It already cost me one set of propellers, but thankfully not an entire drone. Make sure you purchase the add-on insurance from DJI. Two of my friends have already cashed in on it and I nearly had to on my first flight. If you are new to drones, practice in an open area well away from obstacles and make sure you understand how to get it back to you. You will be amazed by this drone - professional results at a hobby price!

Got this brand new yesterday. 1st flight went perfect and then it stopped working. I think I received a defective model. It way over heats, won't take an SD card and decided to just fly off on its own. Thankfully I was inside at the time of the 2nd flight. If I was outside who knows where it would've went

This is awesome. Can't wait for some better weather and longer daylight to get some serious time in with this. This is my 2nd DJI drone. My first one was the Phantom 3 and I ended up being scared to death to fly the thing around. It was so big and I just didn't trust myself to either lose it somewhere in the water or somehow destroy it or get in trouble with it. This one is so much smaller and compact. Technology has improved a lot and I really hope this will get me over the fear of flying it. So far so good. It's really steady, even with moderate winds. I haven't dared try it with heavy winds yet and we've had a lot of that here lately so I haven't been able to get the time in on this yet. The video quality at 4k is really good. I've done a lot of practicing in the house with it and the object detection has been flawless with it. I can't even reach up and grab it out of the air. It sees my hand as an object and jumps out of the way. The built in screen on the controller is really what sold me on this. It's so nice to not have to attach a phone, open an app, get it connected, etc. Just to fly it. This is instant gratification. You turn it on and it's ready to go. The screen is really high resolution and looks fantastic. The battery life is pretty much as rated - about 35 minutes and that this set came with 3 batteries is just awesome. I'm a photographer on the side (mostly wildlife) so I know I won't be chasing wildlife with this but when I want to stop and do something with the drone, I can be up and running it in about a minute. The carrying case it came with is pretty small so I ordered a larger one to keep everything safe and easier to remove. This is really an incredible drone and I just can't wait to really get comfortable with it and put it to some serious use. Just need to build up my own confidence. I can't think of a better drone to recommend. This is so much fun!!
