For a first time drone buyer this drone has just about everything that you would need to take your maiden flight

This is a great beginner level drone. This is small, compact and easy to travel with. The camera can take amazing pictures and has a wide array of options to refine your shots. The small profile does make is susceptible to high winds when flying. Video can be somewhat hard to capture based on the limitations of the propeller system. However it is overall an amazing product to use and learn with!

So this is my first drone, and I'm using it to get sweet aerial footage for my YouTube channel. Yes, I'm currently working toward my Part 107 license with the FAA, and you should too. Don't be afraid of the sacrifices in camera quality you'll be making in order to save $300ish bucks, because the 2.7k video resolution is absolutely gorgeous. The gimble performs flawlessly, as well. There is nothing like the smooth control of a real DJI drone. For $300 you're getting the best of today's drone technology and software features just as if you dropped $500+ on a more advanced DJI model. She'll fly for just about half an hour in standard P Mode, which is plenty of time to get whatever footage you're after. I do plan on investing in another battery to have on standby, though. Ultimately, this is a perfect entry level craft if you demand the best technology available. Just understand that the SE doesn't feature tracking capabilities or 4K like the higher end Mavic models. For the price, this drone is unmatched.

Works great quality is amazing and it’s very fast the range is amazing

This drone is very easy to control even in a strong breeze. Very stable, easy to maneuver, take off and landing is absolutely no problem. The camera is also easy to use and gives both clear pictures and videos. It would be excellent for any age from beginner skills up to an expert.

Small and light so youncan fly it almost anywhere and anytime

I have been waiting a long time to get my hands on a DJI drone. Glad I waited. First recommendation, read, study and watch videos so you understand what you are getting. This drone flies incredibly good. I have nothing bad to say. Videos and pictures are crystal clear. Very responsive and flies great. If you have been thinking about one, get it.

DJI Mini Se its pretty kool small drone excellent for beginners, i got it for my 10 yr old son for Christmas and after 20 min he was flying like pro and the picture and video quality its stunnig. Highly recommend, great for beginners.

My online purchase was fast and easy. The DJI mini se is a great drone for the price and features that it offers. The camera provides exceptionally crisp clear pictures and videos. It is a breeze to fly and it is not as difficult to fly as most people would think.

The drone is a fairly good place to get started if you’re just beginning to learn how to operate a modern UAV. The camera isn’t going to be somethign you’re shooting your next feature film on, but it’s solid enough for practice and taking scenic videos. A reminder though: A free licensing process is now required for non-commercial drone operation, so if you’re going to pick this up, be sure to check into that and also any local regulations regarding its operation, as well as any areas where you may not be permitted to operate (such as federal parks, near airports, etc.). And as always: Safety First!

This quadcopter is a gem. I also fly an DJI Mavic Pro and this little guy does everything the pro does except have object avoidance. The Mini has a couple of minutes more of flight time than the Pro and has a better camera stabilizated gimbal. I have four flights so far and am impressed with the handling of the coastal Florida winds. Althought I would hate to loose this little guy, the math says this loss at $300 would be much less painless as the loss of a Mavic Pro would be at $1200. I am really happy with the purchase.

This is a very good drone, I especially like that it is inexpensive, definitely a must for beginners and being a pro drone pilot, this drone really surprised me with the range and flight capabilities, 5 stars all the way!
