Pretty good starter action camera however you need the DJI app and does not work on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20. Motion quality works great and captures wide exposure. Lots of updates on the app makes the camera worthwhile.

I was always a fan of the competitions action cameras but overall cost, accessories and image quality has converted me to a DJI Action 3 user.
I just took a DJI Action 3, to Japan and walked around for 9 days with it attached to the strap of my camera bag and got "rock steady" 4K video and super clear audio The travelled with three batteries and I never needed to go beyond the three batteries for each day of video shooting, keep in mind that I only ran the camera during certain parts of the daily tour, I didn't try to capture every minute of every day on the tour.
The camera is easy to use, I did all my presets before leaving for Japan and once I landed and started filming, all I had to do was hit the record button to start and hit it again to end and shut off the camera. . .it doesn't get easier than that. It also works off of an app with my iPhone but I never had to use that feature.
I charged the batteries at the end of the day and it was good to go by the next day of tours. I was pretty rough on both my DSLR and DJI Action 3, and found the build quality of the action 3 to be tough and durable. The provided cage for the camera helped keep it safe during the entire trip.
I won't be going back to the other, more expensive brand now that I've seen what the Osmo Action 3 can do.

A lot of options packed into the camera. Unfortunately this camera quickly overheats and shuts down. The only cure found is to switch from 4 k 120fps to something much lower. Basically one can use half of what they paid for. In this case DJI fell way short of delivering the quality and experience I am accustomed to.

This camera is great. I mainly use it to record my boys play baseball. And it’s so simple to film also love that I can set it up and use my phone to start recording. Battery isn’t the best tho so I usually bring a battery pack to charge it while I’m recording.

Excellent camera for the price. Upgraded from osmo 1 and this camera is worth the upgrade. Much better in low light situations. The focus issue has been fixed.

Not much difference than the Osmo 1 if you have Osmo one, youre good, the difference in features is not really worth the investment, other than the front screen has more info, HOWEVERE not a coincidence the Osmo 2 now has ISSUES WITH WIFI and OA3 doesent!!! DJIs way of forcing people to have to buy the OA3. This is good for youre FIRST action camera.

PAY over $400 for a cam that will over heat just like the gopro does , mine over heats after 1 hour using it and shuts down , why get a cam that can not use 4k , i have a campark v40 and x40 i can use over 12 hours never over heats and only costed $120 m DJI needs hire campark cams to help rebuild these junks
