Best camera I ever bought and is also easy to use!

Still prefer Osmo Actions over other brands, never had issues with my editing software or the camera, plus the paying less for basically the same features as the other over priced cameras is always good.

The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, officially launched on September 19, 2024, is DJI’s flagship action cam aiming squarely at GoPro’s Hero 13 Black. Priced at around $349, it brings standout performance with a pro-level sensor, long battery life, and premium features for adventure filmmakers and content creators alike. If you’re shooting action sports, vlogs, underwater adventures, or low‑light events—and you value long battery life, color control, and lightweight reliability—the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro is a standout choice. It delivers professional-grade imaging, effective stabilization, and remarkable durability at a price that undercuts top-tier GoPro models. From crisp 4K video to marathon battery performance, the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro delivers a thrilling mix of image quality, usability, and rugged versatility. Whether you’re day‑camping, surfing, or vlogging after dark, it simply keeps going—delivering sharp, rich footage that doesn’t quit long before your competitors’ cams run dry.

Great camera. So far I’m still learning and trying to get accessories for it. The battery life is good, I’ve been able to use it on and off through half a day and still have battery life left. The camera quality is pretty good. The settings are simple. And the touch screen is pretty cool. For me. Overall I’m enjoying the camera.

I had an Action3 because it was better than the GoPro hands down, now GoPro has come a long way and to my opinion the Action5 still stands alone and it’s better in many ways other than not getting hot like the GoPro but it’s also better because I can use my Action3 accessories like the selfie stick and batteries and just about anything else. Compare that to the GoPro or any other camera and guess what all of the stuff you bought is useless on the other brands but not with the DJI Action 5 . Nope. So superior in all areas. Great support as well. So think before you buy anything else or simply buy the best DJI Action 5 and know that nothing comes close to the quality and support and compatibility. Love this camera and if you have a top of the line phone and say to yourself I don’t need any other camera when I go on vacation I have my top of the line phone. True but a once in a lifetime vacation and you are going to trust your phone to capture those pictures or videos underwater or on a snow cap or riding on a backwoods trail on a bike. I don’t think so and so buy before you travel the
Action 5 is the smart investment and it doesn’t matter the conditions of the weather it great in all kinds of climate. This is my opinion but believe you me i been on vacation and taken pictures with my iPhone and afterwards wished that I had an DJI action camera. After I bought my first action cam, I’m hooked and any vacation I take both my phone and Action5.

It is an excellent Travel Camera, and the picture quality is beyond expectations. I own many DJI products, and this complements it well. I decided to upgrade from DJI Action 2 due to the 1/1.3 sensor. Its image quality is superior and has fewer overheating issues. The only concern is the voice command. It doesn't seem to recognize "stop recording," however often I say it. Otherwise, it's a great buy.

I use this while traveling, and recording live DJ and performance sets. Feature rich.
only thing I wasnt a fan of is the DJI Mimo app doesnt allow you to transfer video to a specific destination path on your phone or tablet. Otherwise, the color profile D-log, manual settings, front display, touchscreen is silky smooth, and ability to save profiles to switch between is great. image stabalization works wonders. lastly the ability to connect to other DJI products like the dji Mics makes its super simple.

Love this Camera, I have used several GoPro and this DJI has been the simplest. I really like the low light feature, late in afternoon I would have to stop filming with GoPro but the Action 5 Pro is excellent. The only thing I would say about it that I don’t like is the magnetic mount. It works great but with some jarring it will pop loose. Overall I’d buy this camera over the GoPro every time.
