Excellent camera since I bought the Action 3 I have not stopped using it and now with the Action 5 Pro, SUPER CAMERA.

My background - I have been skiing for 23 years, - the last 5 years I had been recording with a DJI Osmo Action (the very first one), - the last 2 seasons (a CO and VT trip in each year) have been uploaded to YouTube, - I had never had a single problem with the video quality from that camera, it never shut off, the recording were never interrupted or not usable in any way, the camera was a synonym to dependability and reliability - I always recorded in 2.7k, 60 fps, RS, that allowed for manageable file sizes and slow motion to 0.5. The camera mount is on my helmet. I have watch 30-40 YouTube videos (the vast majority sponsored) and the camera was awesome, and I will agree with the battery life, truly amazing, I recored for 3 days in Colorado, in high wind, with temperatures in single digits, after 4 hours of recording (ski run clips varied from 1 1/2 min to 10 min) the battery still had 30-35% at the end of the day (buying that standard pack in enough with 1 battery), fast charging, what a benefit!!! On the Dji 5 I was recording in 2.7k, 120fps, RS, both Wide and Dewarp. BUT, All of the above does not matter if you get shaky video, or part of a video as a slideshow (yes, you read that correctly)!!!!!! One of my clips has a 40 second stretch of just shaky video, that makes the clip unusable, so the camera dependability experience no longer exists. After 3 days I am going back to the original, old, tested and dependable first DJI osmo. I have opened a support case with DJI, so far (as of 1/23/25) they have been responding, but there is no information as what could be causing these problems. This experience has been exceptionally disappointing, an action camera, which aims to be the top of the industry delivers really poor video (it's great when it works, however, out of every single video that I recorded (close to 40) almost every single one had multiple jitters and/or slideshows) I am considering returning that camera, what is the point of all the great features if the video (at least half of what you record) needs to be deleted or edited out)

Camara is great to capture the most amazing adventures that you experienced, and is worth every penny.

Loved the interface and build quality. Low light video was sub par in my opinion. When compared to my Insta360 Ace Pro 2 it was generations behind.

Highly equipped. High expectations. I'll update if i liked or not after months of use. But for know are great camera

The best purchase on 2024. I have prof camera, drone, osmo pocket 3 but neither of them are so useful as the Osmo Action 5 pro because of the versatility of this camera. I use it almost everyday and have pity of the other ones that is getting dust on the drawer.
