DJI Osmo Action is a great deal.

I use it primarily for MTB riding and it has been great. I haven't had one problem with it and setup with your phone is also easy. I would recommend the product for sure. Firmware update on this device is what made me purchase knowing that DJI fixed some of the bugs when it initially came out.

Not exactly a point and shoot camera.

Somehow I missed the fact you could not export directly from phone to PC, or run MIMO on Windows. Not huge, but not foreseen on my part. Not really as familiar with IOS, or Android. I'm older, and need the big screen, I think I can cast to it, but seems clunky. So I guess the verdict is still out.

The 4k video and hyperlapse both look amazing and the "rocksteady" video stabilization look as good as footage shot with a gimbal. In my opinion, this is the best-valued sport camera out there.

Easy to use in wet environments

Although some other gear is water "resistant," I felt better using this camera. Voice commands are a useful feature when trying to keep raincoat and waterproof camera bag under control while moving quickly through trees and open fields.
