    Based on other reviews and online information, I bought the Osmo Action with great anticipation. While the picture quality was OK, I didn't find it to be great. More importantly, the camera was glitchy. I had difficulty downloading the firmware update. It took about a half hour with DJI support to get it taken care of, and the agent didn't seem too knowledgeable. Sometimes the camera would not play back video. It would just sit at the first frame or stop in the middle of playback. In one instance I had to remove the battery to get the camera to turn off. Maybe some of the problems were my fault, but I just didn't feel comfortable with the Osmo Action. I took it back to Best Buy after about 10 days and exchanged for a GoPro Hero 7 Black. BTW: I also purchased "DJI Refresh" for the directly from DJI. It took over two weeks to get the cancellation refunded to my credit card.

    At the bottom of high end action cameras. It’s a really good budget camera. You will still need a high quality micro sd card and a 2nd battery if you plan to do a lot of recording.

    Positive things about OSMO all over the internet, all true. But I only get the bad things to say: Cannot see from the front screen when it get wet, very bad condensation; The apps update is miserable, and custom support not helps much. It randomly prompts the SD card speed slowly, and stop recording. This happened even when I change the micro SD card to U3 160mb/s read 90mb/s write card. The biggest problem is (maybe because overheat) after 20 minutes video recording, the whole system froze, so I missed the most important part of my son's soccer game! After struggle for a long time, have to return it finally, hope the 2nd version DJI will get more improvement.
