the video quality is good for what i need - recording sports events of my son (i use a cameral fence holder). But will definitely need a gimbal to stabilize the recording when using it while moving around during trips. picture and sound quality was also good.

I use to have GoPro all the way. I have the change to change the action cameras to DJI family and im in love with this camera. Has more than expected. It has similar or more than GoPro 8 and this is the very first version. Love RockSteady, quality, sound, construction.

This camera has worked perfectly! Once you have the correct settings (I like to shoot in D-Cinelike), you will appreciate this camera. Don’t get fooled by the expensive GoPro lineup. You can shoot 4K with ease on this camera.

First and foremost I have never had a GoPro so I cannot compare the two. That being said this can is great if you have a need. The video quality and stabilization are great. The slow motion is also very good! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality action cam!

Bought this In June last year. Been using it 2-3 times a week. I think it’s better than my iphone 8 plus’s video when light is good. And its rocksteady is really rock steady, especially after the recent firmware update. Unless I see any action cam with better low light performance, I am good with this one.

I like this camera waaaaaay better than the GoPro cameras mainly because the app actual works well. Bought the GoPro for twice as much and the app was terrible. One of my buddies dropped this same camera in a resevoir while kayaking. He couldn't find it, and went back 5 weeks later when the reservoir water level had dropped enough where he could walk to it and amazingly found it in a few inches of mud. He took it home, cleaned it off, threw it in a bag of rice for a few days and it worked perfectly! I was sold! My biggest complaint is the battery life, which kinda sucks. I bought 3 extra batteries and a charger, but mainly use it while Jeepin so it's it plugged in most of the time.

Love this little action camera. Microphone picks up well with little wind noise. Stabilization is great. I chose this over the GoPro 8 because the lens is removable and cheap to replace. You can also get other lenses for it as well.

For the price, it can't be beat. Just make sure to get a fast, sizeable sd card and this will be the best on the go cam you could ask for. 4K, up to 240 fps w/o hdr, it's just a really good cam all around.

The GoPro Hero might be the standard, but good crap is this a good action cam. And if you are already in ownership of other Osmo products or DJI drones, keep it simple. This thing and its RockSteady image stabilization are hard to beat for the price.

For the price, it's hard to beat. I haven't used it too roughly or in extreme weather, but I'm confident it will last. Picture quality is surprisingly nice and great for the price.

I think this camera is excellent for the price and overall quality it offers. I had such good impressions that I ordered a second one 2 weeks after my first purchase. It was still cheaper than getting 1 GoPro. I use this camera to record soccer games and we love how the videos come out even at 1080p 60fps in order to save space and random freezes when editing the videos. The rocksteady function is great! It offers plenty of stabilization and you can't even notice the wind movement when attached to a 25ft tripod. I haven't tested it under water yet. The only thing I would improve would be the sound but I also got a cheap audio adapter to connect my microphone to it and everything is perfect now.

Although it failed me when I needed it the most, It performed as advertised. It is an old model to be fair. The following models looks more promising and convenient for todays use.

The first unit inexplicably died almost immediately. Got a replacement and it is a great addition to my photography program. Excellent 4K video and no lagging so far. Very pleased with my purchase as well as the Best Buy customer service.

Nice camera. Very versatile and portable with or without case. Image quality is good but not great. Only issue is over heating after long usage and battery life isn’t great. Purchased three additional batteries for long trips and events.

Great quality camera with lots of great settings and an awesome price. Used for my recent trip snorkling with manatees and all the footage looks exactly like when I was there. Highly recommend!

My wife and I are addicted to using this camera. The video is absolutely on point looks so beautiful and clear. I'll definitely be buying the second version is this camera when it comes out.

Love this action camera. Good for outdoor action filming. i mounted this in front of my jeep while offroading the video quality is superb. Not a good night camera though, still i love it.

I bought this with the front and rear camera in mind (also we have a dji drone), because we (the wife and I)want to use it vlogging and stuff. But it has turned out to be so much more. Awesome video quality, etc.!!

This is my first action camera and my family and my self are enjoying it a lot. It’s tough and takes great photos and videos. The rock steady mode is great! It was a great addition to my other DJI products.

Excellent alternative to GoPro, this is packed with features and ease of use. The only shortcoming is the battery life for each charge; I was expecting higher usage so make sure having spares on hand.
