The DJI Osmo Mobile 3 is packed full...of problems. The motors that level the phone are very under-powered and shut down in safe mode constantly. I used a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with this gimbal which is a supported model. Another issue is there is no audio pass-through. Now I know what you're thinking and let me stop you right there, no you will NOT be attaching a Rode Videomicro to record your audio thanks to that way cool design that Snoppa created for the Atom and DJI shamelessly built the Osmo Mobile 3 around. The cable that you buy to make the connection between the Videomicro and the phone (the SC7 TRS to TRRS cable) will pull the gimbal out of balance and will cause it to shut down in safe mode. The motors in this thing are so weak that they cannot extend a phone cord. Now on to the operation of it. It does not stay centered no matter what you do. You can hit the reset to center the phone but if you swing to the right or left the gimbal will swing in the opposite direction and no, autotrack does not need to be turned on for this to happen. The design is cool, but the implementation of that design has resulted in an under-powered gimbal that is not up the job for which it was designed. This gimbal would be great for someone who just wants to walk around and film without any audio or actually trying to create cinematic footage. If you are looking for those things, you are advised to pass on this gimbal until DJI fixes the issues. Oh and the software crashes constantly and there is no integration with Filmic Pro. Overall I am very disappointed in this product and will be returning it.

It is more stable than I originally imagined. It is fun to use it to record some slow mode videos. If you are going to buy, get the combo.
