Shooting video is so much easier when your hands are not cramping from holding the phone "just right" to avoid the bouncing effect and this helps in more ways than just that. Timed exposures and time lapse video turn out better just using your standard camera app and the Osmo app adds a lot of extra features to your phone.

Superb BUT YOU MUST PRACTICE USING OSMO

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One of the best videos I've taken of a friend performing a violin concerto was made using the Osmo Mobile 3; but I've also run into instances where I could not get the Osmo to sync with my very same iPhone and had to resort to manually manipulating the video without any of the automated advantages. So highly recommended if you are minndful, use it often, and prepare for each use (as opposed for occasional use only)
