Mostly a great update...

With the model 3 I love that it folds up. It's such a convenient feature. I also love that it rotates at the push of a button. My only gripe (and it's a fairly big one) is that you have to hold it awkwardly to the side when trying to trying to record at more extreme angles because of the new arm. You might be ok with it but if you record straight up or straight down, often, this will feel like a step back from version 2.

Great gimbal, but it takes practice

It takes some time and some practice. However, it works exceptionally well once you get the hang of it. I would still consider myself to be a beginner with it and there is a LOT of features that I have not yet tried. I'm sure the more I use it, the more I'll love it.

Great mobile video accessory

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So, I'm still in the process of trying to hone my video skills, but this is a really fun and easy way to do some vlogging or "GoPro" type shots with the stabilization and motion tracking capabilities. There are built-in app videos and it is something that we even use for the tripod to set in front of my 2-year-old daughter when she video chats with her grandparents. It's a solid product!
