We bought this for my son for making videos. It is motorized and creates a smooth motion. You can zoom, start recording and stopping, pan/zoom, and turn the camera within the control on the stick.

Bought this for the explicit purpose of object tracking while live streaming. Learned later it does not support Facebook and other platforms. So you can’t use mimo app other than straight video or photo. Some of editing software is helpful. It does work very well as gimbal.

This is a great device if you use your camera in portrait mode. Moving to landscape shows part of the Gimbal if it is centered. If you move it to not show it, the Gimbal can get off balance. The app works great and has some amazing features. For the price it is great!

It’s nice and sleek look get peoples attention but if your really into photography this is for you with out having to spend big bucks on a camera!!

The gimbal works very well. The software has some nice quickshot features. Not a lot of detailed setting options, and no compatibility with Filmic Pro application. Hopefully DJI patches this for 3rd party functionality.

This is a. Rey cool device yet it’s very very difficult to level it out with my XR IPhone. I pretty much hold on to it and then turn it on to somewhat balance it but what I’m afraid of. Directions say it could wear the gears down. If they do, I’ll change my rating.

Great quality, color and feel! I'm still learning how to use it. The zoom and balance are great. Haven't had a chance to go on an adventure with everything going on, but looking forward to trying it out on the trails. :)

It does need an app in order to work not just through bluetooth. It will take you a few tries to get use to it and get the functions to run smooth like the zoom in and out for videos. It really just depends on what you are using it for. Once you get a hang of it works wonderful.

I took a long time to finally get it synced up with my phone ( Pixel 4 XL). Once I was able to get it synced up it worked perfectly and tracked my movements. Every now and then I have to troubleshoot to get it to sync up again. But definitely does the job when it works.

Love it, very easy to use, price was good for a high quality stabilizer, I carry it with me all the time specially when I go to Costa Rica, lots of pictures while on the move!

This osmo module is quite decent for its purpose. The only issue I have is that it lacks proper controls in that it ever so often haphazardly moves to unexpected directions when filming.

Have this one a while before I do this review. I want to make sure I really like it and it still works. And yes, it does work. Everytime I take this out to do a job, it works great!

The main reason I bought this is for the facial recognition following that it provides and it doesn't disappoint. Other than doing short presentations to my audience I haven't used it however I am looking forward to it.

at first it was great... and we were really excited. One off putting thing is while it is recording you can not switch from selfie to non selfie mode. Kind of an annoyance. Also, after recording and even while recording, the audio and video became very delayed. That has a lot more to do with the app than the gimbal itself... but they have not fixed it and this is something that has been a known issue for awhile now. Also, I have a Samsung Note 10+ and it over heated my phone. I thought it was just my phone at first, but I've done long videos (10 minutes) before and it never heated up until I put it on the gimbal. The gimbal itself was hotter than the phone. I'd say to not buy or just best be on your guard. We returned it and got the Zhiyun smooth 4 instead.

The new Osmo Mobile app and the on board phone charger are very nice enhancements. Allowing the videos to be saved directly to the phone instead of in the device memory like it's predecessor is a much needed change.

If this is your first gimbal purchase you'll need some time to get used to operating the DJI, but trust me it's worth it. Great app to do additional effects and the included "tripod" handle works really well.

I am big an expert on photography but I decide to learn a little bit and get better. This is an excellent choice to learn how to make better videos e photos. It takes a few minutes to understand how to balance.

It has been a magical trip to Spain in part because of all the awesome footage I was able to get on my IPhone due to this smartphone Gimbal. It has been the best experience using this easy tool with the majorly improved UI.

I can honestly say that this was one of my favorite purchases. Not only does it work as advertised but once you get the hang of the controls it is phenomenal! Highly recommend this purchase!

Great, works with your cell phone. Have to remove your cover sometimes... it links to phone and automates some special photo shots, and it stabilizes your videos nicely, the tripod is handy too
