I have a Samsung S9+ who can shoot great 4k60 video. Using this gimbal you have an option 4k30 only, no 4k60, for me it's a deal broker. Returning. It's pointless if it's not using best video recording from a phone. I like the gimbal except that's is lowering quality of the video

I have been watching many of my content creator mentors on YouTube use the DJI OSMO 3 to get some really superb shots. I was super excited to get My hands on it. So I bought it at Best Buy and as soon as I got home I had issues. First I couldn’t get to balance while in my phone case. So I pulled out of my phone case and then the OSMO would not connect to my phone. I just kept having this annoying green light flashing. So I went and read some reviews online and guess what...other people were having the same issues. But the sad thing is NO ONE from DJI would answer me. I then did more research and found out even more issues with this gimbal. I reached out to some friends and they gave me more ideas to try. It wasn’t activated correctly, or you needed to press the M-button 3 times to get it out of standby mode. Yeah nothing was working. Then miraculously it actually started working and before I could get too excited, I could not re-enact the great video shots the mentors on YouTube were able to get. I really thought buying a DJI product would be easy and it’s not at all. So I will give in one more try on Sunday but if it doesn’t work then it’s probably going back to Best Buy. Poor customer service, poor product that does not live up to a 1/10th of the expectations I had for the $140 I spent. Embarrassing to say the least. Randy

Originally purchased this for use with my Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra. Unfortunately, many of the features in the app are not available for Android phones. now now that I have an iPhone, I am able to use many of those features.

We love DJI products, but disappointed with this. Didn’t know that it can only be used with a DJI app. Was hoping to just be able to use it for steadier footage through iPhone camera

I was super excited to get this and take some cool video shots with it. Covid really changed the entire landscape of how and what we can do outside and so I turned inside for making more content only to find this thing is extremely limited. The app rarely gets updates and the DJI forum is full of 1,000s of posts and requests which are all ignored. FYI you can NOT live stream with this on an iPhone. They insist you can but you can not. The app is extremely limited and the gamble will not work with out the app fully running and controlling things. Check out the app reviews for DJI Mimo before purchasing. You will find nothing but upset customers.

Overall I love the gimbal. It does have its limitations though. It isn't as durable as it may look and the storage bag is too small. do love the app, but DJI needs to really allow the gimbal to be used with other apps.

Good stabilizer, but sometimes it lives it’s own life. Unlike a GoPro that create only one album on your phone, Osmo creates a new album for every single new shot you make on iPhone.

This particular item did not work with the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I'm assuming also that it cannot handle other large iPhone "Max" models. The 5.8 inch iPhone models seemed to work perfectly, usually without a case.

The only downside that I’ve seen so far is the follow feature puts too much headroom in the video. As a professional in the video field, it’s kind of a big deal. If they fix this, then it’s totally worth 5 stars!!

I'm still learning how to use it. When it works it's great however the controls are somewhat confusing. And the app is very useless in clearly. I've had to youtube to get information.

Doesn’t work well with heavier iPhones. If you have an 8 or older you should be fine but it didn’t work with my 10 or 11 Pro.

I took the time to even read the directions. Could not get it to work well with apples flagship phones. Even tried weights to help calibrate but the stuttering from the gimbal did not give me any hope.

Got the DJI gimbal, its a good product. It does well on what it supposed to do. But its little too heavy for my liking. I had to return it due to the same reason.

Very good gimble if you have an Iphone. Do not buy if you use android phones. I have an android.. There is also a slight learning curve when using it to record.
