Must do better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Refunds!!! Take way too long if you have to mail back in an item. As technologically advanced as Best Buy is, I expected way more. 10 business days in and still nothing heard.

Useless
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely garbage. Worked once, and then could never get it to sync with my phone again. At one point the gimbal violently threw my phone to the floor. Do not recommend.

An overall great product and package
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone gimbals have come a long way over the last couple of years. DJI continues to improve on their Osmo Mobile design and their third (current) iteration is the best. There are other less expensive gimbals on the market but they fail where DJI exceeds. There are very few cons with the Osmo Mobile 3, mainly the app with Android phones. I highly recommend getting the entire package. It isn't much more than just the gimbal itself and it comes with a better carrying case and tripod legs. You'll end up saving money buy purchasing the package from the get-go. The Osmo Mobile 3 folds in half and is extremely portable, it's more portable than any other motorized phone gimbal on the market. The only mode you won't get, due to the design, is a flashlight/torch mode. You can't hold the gimbal out horizontally as the phone won't tilt. You can still get similar shots by holding it at a 90 degree angle. The Osmo charges via USB-C and can even charge your phone with a USB-A output. The upgrade over the Osmo Mobile 2, aside from taking up half the space, is that you can charge your phone while using the gimbal in every orientation. You can quickly change your phone's orientation with a double-tap of the M button. DJI's app is intuitive and easy to use, it is also more advanced than other gimbal apps. DJI's tracking is better than similar tech from competitors and there are more shooting modes. I prefer the large panoramic shots where the app stitches together 9 different pictures into one large panoramic photo. With the tripod legs, I just set the gimbal down and let it do the work. I do have to enable Sports Mode when tracking my dog but it still works great. The app, like other DJI apps, runs best on iOS devices. DJI hasn't updated the app for the iPhone 11/11 Pro models yet so you don't have access to the wide angle lens but that will be coming soon. You have more video options on iPhones as well. Using it with my iPhone 11 Pro has been a blast. Due to the design of the gimbal, you do have to re-calibrate it after unfolding it each time. This takes a few seconds but it needs to be done. Also, when the gimbal is folded up, I sometimes forget which orientation to install my phone. I would often put my phone in upside down. I solved this by putting an arrow sticker on the inside of the phone grip. All-in-all, this is the phone gimbal to beat. It's small, ultraportable, feature packed, the bundle comes with everything you need, and DJI's app (even on Android) is the best. There are other cheap gimbals online that you can buy costing half as much as this but you get what you pay for. DJI actively develops and updates their app. You also don't have to worry about using a 3rd party cloud service potentially letting other people look at your videos and photos. Stick with the Osmo Mobile 3, it's the best on the market. You can even buy different cases/mounts so you can put a GoPro or other action camera in this.

Great phone gimbal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the functionality of the gimbal and how easy it is to go from portrait to landscape. Greet for shooting steady videos. Just have to learn how to balance the phone but other than that pretty easy to use.

A mini ronin sc
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing product, better than the first two osmo mobile and way ahead of the smooth q series. If there's one thing worth the money, it would be the auto tracking. Pair this up with a moment lens set and filmic pro = a mobile videography machine. Recommend to get the combo. Enjoy!

Love it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use and install. Takes wonderful photos and videos. You sometimes have to close the app out but other than that I am so happy with it. Obviously there is a lot you can do with it that I have yet to learn at this point but I love it for my basic vlog and travel videos

lack of operational instructions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DJI- didn't come with physical directions on how to navigate using it had to youtube it which was outdated video, after downloading software onto cellphone, software opens up but not to your exact product so you have to figure out where your product is and try to access it, product overheats phone which causes errors, lock ups, freezing of software also can't shut off from app so you don't know if its running in the background, also difficult to balance stabilize tells you to keep adjusting but doesn't give you cue on when it does if your in a poor connection area blue tooth will disconnect while attempting to operate.

Not convenient to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased DJI - Osmo Mobile 3 for my iPhone X and had to return it for a few reasons: 1. when you use this gimble you have to take off the case from your iPhone which extremely inconvenient. The Gimble simply doesn't balance because the weight of the case+ iPhone is too much (I have a standard case from Apple) 2. when I use the gimble my iPhone X is starting heating up like crazy. I got scared that I can kill my iPhone with this thing. 3. As I am planning to upgrade IPhone X to IPhone 11 I understand that gimble will not work because of the weight of the phone. I am disappointed with the product because any review I watched before I purchased the product mentioned those problems. Paid marketing = dishonest marketing

Worthless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fist off, it only fits tiny little phones like the iphone. My LG V60 does not fit in this dinky thing. Second, it cannot use wide angle lenses. It will only use your regular lens. Third, if you try to use your regular camera app then it disconnects the gimbal. You have to use their camera app (which is garbage). This product is maybe worth $40 at best. Get something else if you need a gimbal.

Expensive Door Stop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unit worked quite well for the first 3 videos. Now it has become an expensive door stop! The unit does not communicate with the DJI Mimo app so it is useless. I have checked forums for solutions and have notified DJI about the issue but have absolutely no reply from them regarding this seemingly common problem. It may be a problem with the app or the unit but that is irrelevant....the unit is now useless!

Still no 4k 120hz
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pulled the trigger to order this directly from DJI day it was released. I have a Galaxy s9+. The software you have to use with the gimbal doesn't allow for 4k recording @120hz..... Dumb. DJI needs to get this figured out already... Can't recommend this to anyone at this price unless they're ok with not getting the best video their smartphone can deliver.
