Straight out of box it took 4 hours to charge and then they say it can last up to 15 hours. That’s way longer than the avg cell phone will last during heavy use. The charging cable can be used to charge your phone when connected to the Osmo. Works great with iOS but says other phones might not have all the features. Make sure to get the Mimo app which is free and also needed. Definitely will use a lot for steady video clips while out hiking & etc. I never owned the first two so I can’t compare. The case that comes with will not fit both the Osmo 3 & the Tripod that comes with. I don’t mind though.

Folding design is portable and simple. Great stabilization. Very solid, well-built. Mimo app has tons of options for filming. Object tracking is nearly flawless. Can charge your phone while shooting.

This is the second gimbal I've ever owned. I love that it's so compact, great for traveling. Glad I opted for the combo, the stand definitely comes in handy. Pretty steady and smooth.

For being so simple and easy to use, one would figure if the output would be quality. Well, let me say that all the way around DJI stepped up their game with the OSMO Mobile 3. Buy with confidence

Very easy to use. Makes videos look so much better. Though it seems like it is more for iOS vs android. Doesnt let me use all my features on LG V60 or LG G8.

Excellent gimbal! It was between this and the newer version of this. I preferred and liked not having to worry about the clasp to put my smart phone on the gimbal and hence went this. Used to film a bunch over the cherry blossom festival in DC. The hyperlapse works amazing well though the DJI app and couldn't be happier the memories I was able to capture for later with this device. Controls are easy to use and easy to learn - almost becomes second nature after a while.

This is my first gimbal so I have nothing to compare it to, but I love this thing. I played around with it in the house chasing the kids around. Videos are butter smooth now and the Mimo software is awesome for quick edits for social media. It does take some getting used too but no fault of the product. More of training yourself how to hold the device and get the camera to move in the direction you want it to. I'm very happy with the purchase. I got the combo kit with the case and accessories. I can't wait to use it on my upcoming vacation.
