The DJI Osmo 6 is an amazing phone gimbal. I have been using an Osmo 2 for the last few years but the Osmo 6 is a serious upgrade to my previous model. Setup takes less than a few minutes, you download the DJI Mimo and pair it with your smartphone and you’re off and ready to go. A nice new feature of the osmo 6 is that when you unfold it it automatically turns on. If you need to start recording quickly that is a great feature. The holder for the phone is magnetic and will stretch wide enough so that you can leave your phone in a case, which my previous osmo could not do. The osmo will also automatically open up the Mimo app upon connection! The stabilizer for the phone is much more fluid and stronger than previous models. Sometimes with my osmo 2 if I didn’t have the phone balanced in the right spot it would kind of flop over and be non functional. I didn’t experience that at all with the new osmo 6, even with the added weight of a case. The active track 5.0 is phenomenal and allows you to stay focused on a face or object. The osmo will keep it in focus the entire time no matter which way you turn it. They’ve also added the ability to extend the osmo with a retractable arm that will allow you to get more people in the frame or get lower to the ground effortlessly. The osmo also has 4 shooting modes: Follow, which follows the gimbals pan and tilt movements. Tilt locked, which only uses the gimbals pan movements. FPV mode, which utilizes all 3 axes of the gimbal which is the mode I use the most for Real Estate video walkthroughs. Spinshot utilities the joystick to rotate the camera to make dynamic footage. Finally there’s a new side wheel which allows you to zoom in and out effortlessly while recordings. All of these features combine for a very good phone gimbal. I highly recommend the osmo for anyone who needs an inexpensive gimbal to stabilize photos or video. It really is one of the best products that DJI makes in my opinion.

It’s a good evolution of a good product. I used a previous generation professionally and they fixed what used to annoy me and added some unexpected features.Similarly I know that I will be able to continue to use this device for 3 or more years without needing to replace it due to wear or becoming obsolete.

Easy to use for on the go. Please be aware the payload is pretty low but I got this with the intention of traveling and fits my needs!

It’s been a long time since there’s a tech product that I have unboxed and just played around with for 45 minutes before even having a reason to actually use it… I remember that when I was a kid and I would get something new. This product is one of the coolest things, I’ve purchased in a long time. So much functionality and different features and it really is up to you and your creativity on how you use it.

I use this gimble for my job and it has worked very well. I couldn't do my job effectively without this tool.

Works well. I had fun capturing a video for dance reels where we used tracking feature from new Osmo Mobile 6. Happy with the purchase. Recommend it for people looking for a smart gimble to shoot your content. I also got the refurbished product from Best Buy. Saved few $ and the product looked nearly as new.

Great Product Huge improvement from the Osmo 3, I really like the little status display. It takes a minute to get the hang of it if you are new to this device, but once you play around with it for a few mins, you will be able to figure it out. Instructions are not so helpful, you are better off checking on YouTube I use this on a daily basis

Great product. Functions smoothly and does exactly what I was hoping for. Only thing I don’t like is that the phone holder can’t stay on when it’s collapsed. So you have three pieces. More of a slight annoyance and easily solved with a carrying case

Love this thing tbh. Very responsive. Even saw another person on the street using the same one who also looked very satisfied. Great for 3d camera tracking in your favorite software.

My favorite product for capturing content! I captured wedding day content and this is hands down my favorite product to use. It easily supports an iPhone 14 too, which not all gimbals can!
