Low light camera mode perfect for indoors under a variety of typical lighting. Captures warmth of light accurately. Please check that your phone is compatible with the app before purchasing. The app has a lot of cool features however, running it and filming at the same time puts a ton of strain on the battery and it will overheat to the point of shutting off in about an hour. I've only filmed so far using the extended battery handle and the provided tripod, as well as another bestbuy tripod I will review separately. The runtime with the extended battery is about two hours filming at 4k 30 fps. I imagine the run time would be higher in the lower resolution filming options. For reference a 1 TB SD card will hold about 25 hours of 4k video and a little more than double at 1080. Haven't explored the active tracking yet, or other options specifically through the app. The gimbal works as expected, though it can work against you when you're attempting to change angles quickly because you have to operate the joystick simultaneously to keep it from auto leveling against the direction you're moving. I'm excited to see how durable it is over time and hope to be capturing new moments for years to come with it.

After such great experiences with their drones, I was excited to see how DJI brought that magic to a handheld camera. I don’t mean to sound overtly positive, but I'm blown away. There are a few nits here and there, but where action cameras fall short, this camera succeeds in leaps and bounds. It’s simply a shockingly fantastic swiss-army knife of a camera, and with the creative bundle, it’s ready to go further and provide the best audio for filming yourself along with your adventures. Speaking of action cams, most of us buy them with the allure of exciting action shots, but find ourselves simply recording our lives. I suspect that for most, they largely end up on selfie sticks or held out in front of us while we take a hike or walk through a town on vacation. These common scenarios are where the Osmo Pocket 3 stands out - and without annoying fish-eye distortion at the edges. While it may not be waterproof (or even rain proof, btw,) it’s a worthy trade-off. Giving you some truly great features to take great videos, unlike anything you’d record on your phone. At its core, this camera is all about DJI’s stellar gimbal-stabilizing camera tech, seemingly pulled directly from their advancements in drone cinematography. When you turn it on, it comes alive... moving its parts into position and placed at the ready. A small joystick makes it easy for you to pan left and right, while also zooming in and out. For creators, it’s undoubtedly a great way to control the camera while speaking to it. Additionally, the gimbal allows for a quick mid-video flip between facing your subjects and facing you. A tap on the screen causes this quick rotation, which feels almost magical. It's like you've got a highly advanced little robot trying its best to handle as much of the fiddly actions for you so you can just focus on making your recording. That ‘robot’ can even go an extra mile while in face tracking mode (selfie mode) where the camera will turn/rotate itself to help keep your face centered in the frame at all times. Other great take aways were the surprisingly snappy processor running the screen and UI. Unlike recent action cams, this camera is quick to respond. Additionally, the small screen makes up for its size by being both surprisingly vibrant and true to life, as well as high resolution. It’s one of the best previews I’ve seen on a digital camera in some time. The UI itself is also pretty easy to navigate. For instance, you turn on the camera by rotating the screen into place, and making adjustments to the video settings is as easy as swiping up form the bottom and sliding between generously-sized selections. But none of that is important if the end video quality isn’t amazing. But happily, it is. My videos were absolutely smooth, crisp, true to life and simply a joy to rewatch. One element I didn’t love was the sensitivity of the on-board mic. For interior videos, I found it a bit too likely to pick up quiet footsteps or a rustling of fabric. With the included external mic, this concern went away - with clear and focused audio. Overall, I’m somewhat shocked by this camera. It’s almost otherworldly in how advanced it feels to use that boggles the mind a bit. Similar to DJI’s drones, it’s as if it leapt out of the future. While it may not be waterproof, it succeeds in being an advanced tool for capturing smooth and professional looking videos - largely due to its unique gimbal and face tracking tech. Very cool. The Good Stuff: - Precision build and quality materials - Gimbal-stabilized video is exceptionally smooth & high quality - Face tracking (selfie mode) feature is great - Packs of pro-level tools into a small package - Snappy processor, smooth UI and accurate (if small) previews on screen - Great accessories (battery handle, external mic, tripod mount, etc) Less than Good Stuff: - Internal microphone picks up more background noise than desired. Ext. mic is much better. - Case is a bit too tight with everything inside.

This is an excellent product. I use it all the time, and it’s incredibly convenient for capturing high-quality video on the go. The compact design and stabilization are top-notch, making it perfect for travel and everyday use. However, I discovered too late that the microphone was missing from the package. Unfortunately, it was past the return window when I realized this, so I couldn’t resolve the issue. If you’re considering purchasing one, I highly recommend it, but make sure to check the box carefully when you receive it. Confirm that all the listed accessories are included to avoid the oversight I experienced. Overall, a great product with a small cautionary note for buyers!

The Osmo Pocket 3 punches WAY above its weight! I have put it through its paces, and it offers so much versatility and practical usage. If you're considering upgrading from a phone, OR looking for a MUCH more friendly workflow than a bigger camera rig, it won't let you down. I can't say enough good about this camera from the quality, size, formats (RAW photo AND 4k 120fps AND 1080p 240 on a camera this size is NUTS!) make for a fantastic camera! It won't replace a bigger sensor if your bottom line is "stunning quality", but it will open door to angles and shots you would never be able to get with bigger options and blend pretty seamlessly in with your other cameras and footage. Or if you're a YouTube or social creator, this little beast will do the trick and will be fun to shoot on. You won't be disappointed!

Pocket3 is no doubt a huge upgrade

Great upgrade over the Pocket 2. The screen was it's biggest drawback and that has been gloriously upgraded. The large one inch sensor really does make a big a difference as all the Youtubers are proclaiming. The Pocket 2 suffered from serious artifacts in low lighting conditions. While the Pocket 3 has a lowlight auto mode, I prefer manual for more encoding options. The difference was night and day after I got a chance to complete a shoot. I am editing that footage now and I am amazed by the color depth you get in low light and the d-cine log color mode. The creator combo is a great value and its few drawbacks almost necessitate going with the creator combo. The Pocket 3 runs hotter over the Pocket 2. I am sure the trade off with a larger sensor and screen, heat management may be an issue in the hotter climates. The battery is the next negative aspect of a more capable compact gimbled action cam. I am 6'3" so the stock Pocket 3 is almost too small for me to hold. The included non-battery handle does help, but the battery handle feels perfect in my larger hands. The battery handle also solved the lower battery life Pocket 3 suffers from. There is one stellar reason that could almost warrant the combo alone and the is the Mic 2 that is included. It works really well and the quality of the voice I was able to capture is nice addition. You also get a plastic tripod that is sturdy. This is in my opinion of the best gimbled action cams you can buy. It is a versatile piece of kit that is a worthy upgrade over its predecessor and great value in the combo.

I recently purchased the DJI Osmo, and I am very satisfied with its performance. The camera delivers high-quality video and smooth stabilization, even when moving. This makes it ideal for capturing clear and professional-looking footage. One thing I really like about the DJI Osmo is how easy it is to use. The setup was quick, and the controls are simple to understand, even for someone who is not very experienced with cameras. It is also lightweight and comfortable to hold, which makes filming for longer periods easier.

DJI is in a league of its own. I made this purchase to upgrade from an earlier version and it has not disappointed me. The features are amazing and super fun to use, and it’s easy to operate. The DJI mimo app also take this to another level and makes it easy to transfer/download videos. This is a must have for vacations and any run and gun events. Video quality is awesome as well as the external microphone. Lastly, be warned that this is a showstopper and you will get all kinds of attention curious eyes when you take it out in public. Enjoy!

First of all, I will say I was very hesitant to buy such an expensive item, but after reading and viewing so many reviews online, I knew I had to get it! I wanted to start capturing many of life's important moments without the hastle of using a conventional camera. The portability and video quality of the DJI Pocket 3 has surpassed my expectations and is extremely easy to use! I find myself wanting to film more and be less anxious about filming in public. Everyone compliments on the video quality and is amazed by the portability. Originally, I was thinking about getting the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 but forgot that DJI also makes action cameras. Ultimately, I went with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo because it suited my means more than the Ace Pro 2. I know they are 2 different cameras for different uses, but something to keep in my mind! The only thing I dislike about the item would be the fact that the internal battery is not detachable. Hopefully, they are able to implement that in the next iteration so it becomes quicker to swap to a new fully charged battery!

Overall, I love the camera! The creator combo is a must because you will find yourself purchasing a battery handle regardless. Without it, the camera feels too small in my hand. With the battery handle, it feels much more robust and secure. The picture quality if phenomenal especially in landscape mode (4K). When you switch to portrait, the highest resolution achieved is 3K. This is kind of a bummer, but not enough to subtract from my rating. It does well in low-light situations as well. I use this as a club DJ. So, I am usually using it in low-light with flashing lights, lasers, etc. There is a learning curve, but it is not as steep and daunting as one might think. The trick is just learning how to navigate the menus. I do love that I can remotely connect to and control the camera over wifi via the DJI Mimo app. I have an early version of the camera. Since my purchase, the cost to purchase an additional camera has is 150% of what I originally paid for it which stopped be from purchasing more. I do believe it was a much better value at its original price point. I would go another route at its current price point unless you just have the cash to burn.

What a great deal. The newer version of the Osmo is great. It shoots extremely well, especially in daylight, and the stabilization is off the charts. I wish the manual zoom was a bit better as it doesn’t have a smooth movement. But all the other features are great.

Stabilization and video quality are amazing! I plan to take this on our trips. The only thing I definitely seem to have a bit of difficulty with is the tracking/gumball but it isn't too hard. Definitely keep the spare battery with you and charged. I haven't even attempted to use the app as it seems like a bit more of a hassle.
