This isn't really a fair review as I haven't figured it out yet and spent a lot of time with it. However, I would say it's fair in that if you aren't familiar with this type of format, it is going to take a lot of getting used to. Out of the box you aren't going to be able to use it for things like podcasting or even just filming regular video. The format is very strange. It shoots in wide angle and focuses up. So whatever you point it right at, it's' going to film higher up. For example if you point it at a person, it will film them from the waste up. I wanted to film installing new kitchen cabinets but it only filmed the top half of the room. My brother-in-law has one and he loves it but admits it is different. He said you have to go in and zoom and/or refocus to what you want it to capture. To me this doesn't seem intuitive. Finding where the necessary controls are, is going to take a bit. So it may be amazing. If so I will come revise the review but it is going to take some time to figure out and I haven't had the time. It's not ready out of the box in my experience. It's hard to say if I would recommend it until I get it working the way it needs to work but for now I would say no. At this price point it should be more user friendly.

The function and ease use was amazing! The Downside was the small screen and difficult at times to see framing. Overall better than sony zv-1 for use and on the go filming.

The pocket 2 is great but the 3 is everything you could ever want.

I love this camera. I have wanted one for a long time and it is everything. I got the creator combo, and I also got two SD cards from Best Buy. Delivery was earlier than other retailers.

With only basic testing around the house underway this far I'm pretty impressed so far by the Pocket 3. It's from factor is convenient and picture quality is solid, with low light having neither too much contrast not was it washed out. The mic quality is also nice and clear, something I often didn't expect from wireless mics.
