I’ve been using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for a few months now, and it’s quickly become my go-to device for capturing smooth, high-quality video on the go. What stood out immediately was how compact it is—easily fits in my pocket or bag, which makes it perfect for travel and everyday use. The image stabilization is incredible. I’ve filmed while walking, even jogging, and the footage still looks smooth and professional. The upgraded 1-inch sensor also makes a noticeable difference in low-light conditions. I used it during a late evening event and was impressed by how much detail and color it still captured. The rotating touchscreen is a smart addition, especially when switching from landscape to portrait. It made filming for social media much easier. I also appreciated how intuitive the controls were—I’m not super tech-savvy, but I was able to get the hang of it within minutes. My only minor complaint is that the battery life could be a bit longer for extended shoots, but it charges quickly and the quality of the footage more than makes up for it. If you’re a blogger or just want to the option to go hands free, the dji osmo pocket 3 is lovely. The face tracker is brilliant. The quality is so clear. Good mic. It’s compact, easy to travel with. I’m a newer vlogger and I didn’t like carrying a big tripod and camera in public. This is perfect.

Great small camera set-up for creators. There are endless possibilities with this camera. For the compactness of the camera, the quality is great. I was also really surprised at the quality of the internal microphones.

So fun to use and if you are an event photographer or videographer. Get one of these for yourself and pass around so that guest can use and capture content for you. I notice people are so much comfortable when posing and having fun in front of a camera when friends or family are filming them. Great on battery, can be easily rigged to various surfaces. Quality is really great for person and professional use.

Have only had it for two days but it has wheat replaced my Bmpcc 6k pro for my day to day creation! It simplifies the high quality capture of content. No need to set up the tripod and lights and so forth. Really just sit and shoot. I can carry a shoot in my small back pack. A light, the pocket three, and a drone! Ready for action

I watched reviews of this on YouTube and decided to get it because of the improvements over the pocket 2. This is a great little camera, easy to use and come with a lot of accessories. It's easy to switch back and forth and the battery lasts a good time and then you have the extra battery in case you need it. It's compact and discreet on trips as well.

It my go to device capturing quality videos. Stable camera nothing to worry if your shaky hands cause my kids love taking video. Compact and easily to carry fits in my bag and pocket. Eventhough you’re a beginner easy to operate from photos to videos and the outcome its like a pro.

I love this camera; its quality for the size is amazing. I am a shy person, so filming in public is embarrassing when you have a big camera like the Fujifilm, but with this camera, I get no looks and I feel confident that I am not being watched while still maintaining that great quality for content. One downsize is I wish the zoom on this camera was better; other than that, no complaints.

I had the pocket 1 for over 3 years and used it as an additional tool to my other action cameras. I skipped the pocket 2 as i didn't see much change that i would benefit from. After seeing the first video reviews come out in release day, I immediately started looking for one with the fastest availability. I ordered here from Best Buy and it was delivered 2 days later. From my initial impressions right out of the box, it feels a little better in the hands due to the increase in size. After the first hour of testing all of the features and recording some footage to test the video and audio quality, I am very happy with my purchase. I feel that instead of my pocket camera being an accessory to my other action cameras as well as my full size video camera, this pocket 3 will be going everywhere with me. I like to film outdoor and fishing videos primarily. The fact that I can instantly switch between portrait and landscape mode, means I can easily shoot my short form content and then switch right back into long form content at the touch of a button or flip of the screen. No more trying to scroll through all of the same content looking for my short form content to pull. The video quality both in low light and outdoor bright light is incredible for such a small camera. I personally love that I can even mount the camera to a mount above me on the boat looking down, and with a touch of the button on the Mic, it starts and stops recording without me having to touch the camera. The ability to go live for my social media to promote my fishing charters is another reason I purchased the pocket 3. There is built in capability to go live at the touch of a button. You do have to touch a couple of selections once you go into the menu, but i don't have to use my phone for going live with this setup. I can touch the button to start on tee Mic 2 and I can fight fish and net fish for a customer while the camera captures it all. This is, without a better choice of words, a game changer for my videos and my fishing business.

Really like this product. It's easy to use, super intuitive, creates nice footage and the mic works great. The tracking feature is a great bonus. Size and weight are perfect and make this a truly "pocketable" pal. Be guarded around water because it's not waterproof. If you're considering action around the pool or beach invest in a waterproof case. They're cheap enough and you'll be glad you did. You've got to know how to get the most from it so watch those YouTube videos and definitely invest in ND filters for outside...they work great!

I’ve had my DJI Osmo for about two months now and I’m really happy with it. It’s super easy to use — I was up and filming smooth, steady shots right away. The video quality is great, and it’s been awesome for capturing trips and family moments without any hassle. I definitely recommend getting the insurance, though — with a camera this portable, accidents can happen. Overall, a great buy!

After such great experiences with their drones, I was excited to see how DJI brought that magic to a handheld camera. I don’t mean to sound overtly positive, but I'm blown away. There are a few nits here and there, but where action cameras fall short, this camera succeeds in leaps and bounds. It’s simply a shockingly fantastic swiss-army knife of a camera, and with the creative bundle, it’s ready to go further and provide the best audio for filming yourself along with your adventures. Speaking of action cams, most of us buy them with the allure of exciting action shots, but find ourselves simply recording our lives. I suspect that for most, they largely end up on selfie sticks or held out in front of us while we take a hike or walk through a town on vacation. These common scenarios are where the Osmo Pocket 3 stands out - and without annoying fish-eye distortion at the edges. While it may not be waterproof (or even rain proof, btw,) it’s a worthy trade-off. Giving you some truly great features to take great videos, unlike anything you’d record on your phone. At its core, this camera is all about DJI’s stellar gimbal-stabilizing camera tech, seemingly pulled directly from their advancements in drone cinematography. When you turn it on, it comes alive... moving its parts into position and placed at the ready. A small joystick makes it easy for you to pan left and right, while also zooming in and out. For creators, it’s undoubtedly a great way to control the camera while speaking to it. Additionally, the gimbal allows for a quick mid-video flip between facing your subjects and facing you. A tap on the screen causes this quick rotation, which feels almost magical. It's like you've got a highly advanced little robot trying its best to handle as much of the fiddly actions for you so you can just focus on making your recording. That ‘robot’ can even go an extra mile while in face tracking mode (selfie mode) where the camera will turn/rotate itself to help keep your face centered in the frame at all times. Other great take aways were the surprisingly snappy processor running the screen and UI. Unlike recent action cams, this camera is quick to respond. Additionally, the small screen makes up for its size by being both surprisingly vibrant and true to life, as well as high resolution. It’s one of the best previews I’ve seen on a digital camera in some time. The UI itself is also pretty easy to navigate. For instance, you turn on the camera by rotating the screen into place, and making adjustments to the video settings is as easy as swiping up form the bottom and sliding between generously-sized selections. But none of that is important if the end video quality isn’t amazing. But happily, it is. My videos were absolutely smooth, crisp, true to life and simply a joy to rewatch. One element I didn’t love was the sensitivity of the on-board mic. For interior videos, I found it a bit too likely to pick up quiet footsteps or a rustling of fabric. With the included external mic, this concern went away - with clear and focused audio. Overall, I’m somewhat shocked by this camera. It’s almost otherworldly in how advanced it feels to use that boggles the mind a bit. Similar to DJI’s drones, it’s as if it leapt out of the future. While it may not be waterproof, it succeeds in being an advanced tool for capturing smooth and professional looking videos - largely due to its unique gimbal and face tracking tech. Very cool. The Good Stuff: - Precision build and quality materials - Gimbal-stabilized video is exceptionally smooth & high quality - Face tracking (selfie mode) feature is great - Packs of pro-level tools into a small package - Snappy processor, smooth UI and accurate (if small) previews on screen - Great accessories (battery handle, external mic, tripod mount, etc) Less than Good Stuff: - Internal microphone picks up more background noise than desired. Ext. mic is much better. - Case is a bit too tight with everything inside.
