The problem is the zoom is very poor. But is very good camera.

This isn't really a fair review as I haven't figured it out yet and spent a lot of time with it. However, I would say it's fair in that if you aren't familiar with this type of format, it is going to take a lot of getting used to. Out of the box you aren't going to be able to use it for things like podcasting or even just filming regular video. The format is very strange. It shoots in wide angle and focuses up. So whatever you point it right at, it's' going to film higher up. For example if you point it at a person, it will film them from the waste up. I wanted to film installing new kitchen cabinets but it only filmed the top half of the room. My brother-in-law has one and he loves it but admits it is different. He said you have to go in and zoom and/or refocus to what you want it to capture. To me this doesn't seem intuitive. Finding where the necessary controls are, is going to take a bit. So it may be amazing. If so I will come revise the review but it is going to take some time to figure out and I haven't had the time. It's not ready out of the box in my experience. It's hard to say if I would recommend it until I get it working the way it needs to work but for now I would say no. At this price point it should be more user friendly.

This is a no brainer purchase for any content creator

It is awesome, but the joystick is kinda uncomfortable. As a webcam you can’t adjust settings. The microphone is amazing

I purchased an open-box DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo from bestbuy.com⁠� for nearly $700 because I trusted that “Open Box Excellent” meant the device had been properly inspected and reset before resale. Unfortunately, I later discovered the camera is still bound to another person’s DJI account, preventing me from fully binding it to my own account and accessing all features in the dji.com⁠�. DJI support informed me that only the original owner can remove the binding and advised me to contact Best Buy. When I reached out to Best Buy support, the agents acknowledged the issue but offered no real solution other than suggesting I visit a store. The chat also disconnected due to “technical difficulties,” leaving me without help or resolution. This should never happen with an “Open Box Excellent” product. Geek Squad is supposed to ensure devices are properly reset and ready for the next owner. Instead, I ended up with a camera I don’t fully control despite paying a premium price. Very disappointing experience with both quality control and customer support. I expected much better from Best Buy.
