I love this camera. The best cam I’ve bought. This or the hero..? I guess if your planning on using it underwater, you should go the hero route. Both of them are great cams.

DJI thinks the Osmo is some kind of rickety cell phone accessory, rather than a capable standalone device, and shows giant cell phones jammed onto the side of the diminutive camera in their promotional material. (If I'm going to walk around with my phone on a stick, what do I need the Osmo for?) This thought process seems to inform several other poor design decisions: - WiFi is an optional extra, rather than being built-in. This seems absolutely crazy to me, given that other action cameras on the market come with built-in WiFI, allowing for wireless remote operation out of the box. - Wrist strap attaches to the case, rather than the camera. WHAT? I care a lot more about dropping or losing my expensive camera than the stupid flimsy case...that you can't leave on the camera if you've connected any of the accessories you're stuck buying. - Attaching the WiFi accessory (which, as mentioned before, should really be built-in) uses the USB-C port, meaning you can't connect a charger to the camera while operating it remotely by WiFi...and of course, the number one reason I'd want to run it by WiFi is to do a long-duration time lapse, for which I'd want to have the charger connected. Oops! Also means you can't use the overpriced external microphone adaptor if you want to charge or operate the camera wirelessly. - None of the Osmo Pocket cases that DJU sells will hold the camera with any of the accessories attached, including the cell phone adaptor, WiFi adaptor, action camera mount, or control wheels...meaning you have to take all of those things off to put it away, and put them all back on when you pull the camera out. Tiresome, and I start to worry about wearing out connectors. - No tripod or action camera mount built in, meaning...another accessory you have to purchase! Have used this for a couple of vacation videos, and the video quality is very good, and the stabilization/gimbaling feature works quite well. Audio from the built-in microphone is noticeably better than from the 2017-era "black" action camera I was using before.

Despite the size, the Osmo pocket does so much. Tracking, timelapse, hyper-lapse, panoramic, crisp video. I do wish it had swappable batteries but you can use a standard cell phone charger battery to keep it powered. all in all, I love it.

wanted a small camera that I could carry around anywhere. a friend had bought one and recommended it so I bought it when it went on sale.

You get stabilized 4K 60 with this amazing little camera at a great price. You can’t go wrong getting it. You can do amazing timelapses with it. I highly recommend it.

Great for my 9 year old! She's interested in making videos and vlogging and this works perfect with her iPhone! It can go to selfie mode too!

This camera can do it all. Great for portability. Battery time is average but when not in use, the battery holds its charge. Can do cinematic shots easily.

It is one of those gadgets that are needed when I travel, easy to carry and adaptable to the smartphone. Also a app that help to take better pictures.

Nice little camera but let me tell you it is a powerhouse the images and footage they come out of this camera or top quality. Happy with my purchase.

It's very compact and fun gadget, much better than phone on a gimbal in my opinion. But it is a bit pricey considering you probably already have a phone and phone gimbal is like $100. It is more bulkier though. Overall very nice form factor.

This is a great travel cam but to be honest I now use the GoPro Max which is amazing. The Osmo does have a lot going for it including its small size. This makes it a perfect device to take traveling.

I love my mini camera. It does the job and easy to edit videos with the phone app. Accessories are sold separately but worth the price.

I have had this a about a month now and have recorded indoors and outside. I always shoot in 4K in the “PRO” mode and it has produced great video. There isn’t much color to correct in post. This will accompany me on the next vacation!
