So... where to start? This thing is awesome. Out of the box easy to setup, really quick charge time i was shocked (45min). First thing while charging i did is pay my 5 bucks to the FAA to register and license my drone. Then download the DJI app..So My first flight.... Well once you power up it'll go through it's command sets and checks to make sure it is ready to fly. You have to calibrate it by spinning yourself in a circle... no not the drone like i did like a fool. So you have multiple ways to start flight, swipe automation or manual. I swiped. it hovered. I got used to the sticks and controls and tried to manually land.... First off to land, pull down on the stick till it hits the ground and hold the stick down till the blades stop spinning then return the stick to normal position. Me, like a fool, flew it into a fence and busted a blade. No worries it comes with spares. I repair and take off again, this time once again messing up my landing and the blade getting stuck in the ground.. started smelling smoke and pulled the battery. Luckily everything was fine. NOTE: THE SHUT DOWN SWITCH COMMAND ON THE CONTROLLER IS BOTH STICKS DOWN AND IN TOGETHER. IF YOU ISSUE THIS COMMAND MIDFLIGHT IT WILL FALL OUT OF THE AIR. I suppose it is worth noting i was in my friends small backyard with no area for a beginner to land haha, so we moved on to a big field. This is where the real test was done. I took off manually everything was fine, I flew this bird 399ft in the air and my God it had amazing control still from up high. I admit i lost track of it and didn't realize it was 5 blocks away until i saw the GPS i brought it back and landed safely. BY FAR THE BEST PROSUMER DRONE ON THE MARKET, THE CAMERA QUALITY IS AMAZING EVEN AT NIGHT AND THE CONTROL OF THE DRONE FEELS TASKLESS AND EASY.

I own three drones and finally purchased the DJI Phantom 3 Pro. It is the best by far. I use it for photography not just to fly it. The stability of this product thanks in great part to the gimbal and added by the wonderful 4k camera gives me the results I need. The power of this machine is awesome. I have flown it in high wind conditions and it held steady like a champ. Watching the video from the flight you could not tell the wind was blowing at all except for the limbs of the trees swaying in the wind. I highly recommend...

Say what you want, but this is the best all around drone on the market period. I've used, owned, flew many drones and the simple-ness of the Phantom, lets you really get the best shot and not have to worry about the flying...... The drone pretty much flies itself with the pilot app which is $29.99 and available on both OS platforms for Mobiles and Tablets to download. The camera shoots stunning pics, although grab some ND filters and use them, they work amazing and really filter out the light you don't want. I don't use the prop guards, you see them way too much in the video. Great product DJI, and great purchase from Best Buy!!!! Go grab one!!!

I cannot stress enough how happy I am with this drone. I purchased this 3 weeks ago and now 50+ flights and 7 hours of flight time I have no complaints. Be prepared to spend a little time with initial setup and don't hesitate to watch YouTube tutorials. I have suffered no issues with this and everything works exactly as it should. The video is fantastic and this has certainly motivated me to create a YouTube channel to share my videos and pictures. Use common sense and maintain a safe altitude and this will provide hours of fun.

The DJI Phantom 3 Professional Quadcopter is a very easy drone to fly right out of the box. The battery lasts about 18-23 minutes before it needs to be recharged. The 4K camera makes great videos and pictures; it is very easy to control and change settings with the controller. When you take your fingers off the controller sticks it is rock solid and hold its position. I bought an 8-inch tablet to mount on the controller and that made it a lot easier to view the drone position and fight information on the screen. I am very happy with the DJI drones. I bought an inexpensive drone that did not have GPS tracking and was very disappointed with how much more work it took to control the drone.

I did extensive research before purchasing the Phantom 3 Pro. The 3DR Solo display at Best Buy turned me on to the idea of purchasing a quad-copter (I hate the word "Drone".) But after finding out that the $1k sticker price did not include a camera OR gimbal, I was quickly turned off. DJI's Phantom series has a much larger selection of accessories, a great online forum community, and tons videos/tutorials online to get you up and running like a pro. It's super easy to fly, and I have had very few issues. You'll want to look into buying some prop guards, an extra battery, and a case if you are serious about buying this product (not available at Best Buy.) There are endless accessories for this thing, but you get all the basics right out of the box!

This "drone" is fantastic.It takes awesome high quality photos and videos and has been easy to use and reliable. I recently attended a marathon and saw someone using this very same unit to take quality aerial footage of the race. Just know that when you purchase one of these, you will have to register with the FAA.

The Phantom 3 Pro continues the DJI line of easy to fly plug and play quadcopters with seamless integration of a built-in camera. The new 4K camera has great image quality, a stable new gimbal, and the new DJI Go app is user friendly, intuitive and functional. Range is better than the 2+, although in urban settings I haven't seen near the advertised range. There is some jello-effect at higher shutter speeds. DJI's customer support, although improving, leaves a lot to be desired.

Learning how to fly this thing is a real breeze! It wasn't hard at all to fly this thing. And if you lose your drone or if the system realizes the battery's low and is still within range to return without losing power, it automatically returns!!! Still have to make a setting for it to hover high enough so it doesn't run into obstacles and return safely.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. It is awesome! Very stable. Easy to fly. The picture quality is amazing! Still pictures were amazing! My husband has enjoyed this drone. Very easy to fly!

Best 'drone' ever! Easy. Fast. Very Fast. Friendly. Amazingly sleek. Video is insane. Quality of unit is 'off the hook' and built to last. Its your new best friend and he needs two extra batteries, okay? Get it. Open the Box. Charge the Battery and the controller. Go to the app store/play store and get DJ PRO. Take the memory card out of unit and into your computer and upload the latest firmware to it. 1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMgzpzpq0DE put it back in and update Phantom3 for 20min. Plug in to your controller to your device/phone and open DJ PRO. 2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQJGAkQY6hE Register and then select CAMERA and "update firmware".. Put on blades and watch this 2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNExxqTw1O8 Register this drone or face 29,000 fine. Have fun ;)

this is my first drone so I cant compare it to others. it works nicely and the camera is nice. its very stable when flying. there is no shaking whatsoever, even with some wind. Is not too loud so that's a plus and it can go pretty far when the beginner mode is removed. battery life is about 23 mins, which you would need an extra battery for backup. the remote is user friendly. one thing you have to keep up on is all the firmware updates for the drone nad remote. overall its really cool!

I love this drone. After about two hours of charging the battery and updating the firmware and I was flying! Super easy to fly and the camera is incredible.

I have the phantom 2 and heard great things about this upgraded model. It flys more steady as it uses more satilites. I have better control and the camera is a nice upgrade as well. The app is awesome. Very happy with it

This is an amazing "toy" and we are having so much fun with it. Our entire family has enjoyed the views that we have recorded. It is amazing and everyone should have one to record all good things!

I am in love with my Phantom 3Pro. I upgraded from the Standard model (still an amazing piece of equipment) to the Pro primarily for the upgraded camera and the increased ground sensors and overall more flexible machine. Flawless operation, and borderline idiot-proof. Extremely stable, excellent communication with the RC and the Drone with the Lightbridge communication setup. I am having a blast with this! Not only fun and easy to pilot - the camera and video images are stunning! I actually dial the 4k camera back to 1080p so the imagery is easier to handle.

First time buying an expensive "toy" and first time flying a quadheli. This one is super stable under GPS mode. Can withstand moderate winds and hover in place. Some people are complaining that they crash their Phantom. Read the manual! Fly is a safe environment. Don't show off. Love this Phantom! Camera/Video is great!

First off, I'll start by saying that I avoided purchasing a drone for a long time, simply because I did not want to crash a hefty priced item. After reading reviews and hearing people talk about the amazing features of the Phantom 3, I caved. This drone is simply amazing. It does almost everything you could ask for. Over 20+ minutes of flight time on a single battery charge, the engines do not get hot after a full battery use so you are free to swap in a new battery and get back at it. Amazing picture quality from the camera, the stability of video is top notch. App is easy to use. Anyone with decent knowledge of technology should be able to have the drone up in flying. Don't worry about losing the drone either, with the GPS features and return to home the drone will fly back to you! I flew over a mile away from where I was standing without losing a single bar of reception strength. Fun to show off to family as well, makes your parents think the years of you playing video games growing up really paid off. I would recommend a decent size screen to use. Should be okay with a phablet, but Im now looking into getting an actual tablet for my future flights.
