This flys great & the camera is great too. Easy to maneuver

This is a drone that has a lot of high tech components for the price. Camera is great. Flying is easy. Distance and battery life are okay. We experienced IMU errors that, after reading numerous posts, could not be resolved on our own. However, we took it to a local hobby shop and one of their drone experts fixed it in about an hour. Wanted the Phantom 4 but wasn't willing to pay the money. We are more than satisfied with the Phantom 3.

Had to get help to set it up and link it, but love it! Easy to fly and land, and so much fun!

Got this for my dad for Christmas and he loved it. It is his first drone and it was very impressive. Worked well right out of the box!

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband and in his words "It's the best gift ever." He has taken our adult sons and our 12 year old son out to fly it. Our youngest had no problem navigating the controls. We have done video and the quality is very good. Overall I'm glad we paid the higher price for a better quality drone.

This is an awesome drone! Easy to fly and a blast. Set up was easy and this is perfect for someone with no experience flying one.

As a videographer, I wanted to be able to get aerial footage. Not just any aerial footage, but high quality footage...and this drone has provided that for me. Along with the quality of 2.7k, it is very fun to operate. I look forward to upgrading to the more expensive models, but for the price this is a great starter drone to own.

The drone was purchased for our son who is an engineering student in college. It was very easy to learn how to fly and maneuver.

I started with the Syma X5-C last year and have wanted a DJI since I first saw them in 2014. The Phantom 3 Standard is the perfect drone for amateur drone enthusiasts who are t looking to make a documentary on the Grand Canyon. The distance that this thing goes is more than enough for me.

I'm not a technically proficient person, and I'm certainly not big on buying what's the latest and greatest if an older version will meet my needs.The drone craze means a market full of choices and DJI was a brand I kept hearing about.The phantom 3 seemed to be priced well for the quality and performance the reviews claimed.After about two months of ownership,I can say that I am very happy with the three standard From the ease of loading and using the app,to the performance of the camera.This drone is fun and easy to fly.It does everything I want and does it well.I My advice to you would be that anytime you read a review on anything you're looking to buy ,would be to first know what your particular needs and wants are then go from there.While some may find the three standard antiquated compared to newer models.I feel that especially for your first drone,it is a good choice.

This drone works well and the camera on it with application is wonderful. The pics are clear and crisp--color perfect... Love it!

Great beginner drone. It's simply the best that you can get for around $500.00 dollars. It's an amazing piece of technology that you must try to believe. DJI makes the best drones, period. This drone doesn't have the greatest range but the camera and the stability is simply amazing. Highly recommended..

Purchased as a gift for my son who is currently building his own house. He absolutely loves it! Great for hovering above and taking pics and videos as he progresses. The Standard was the perfect choice as who really wants to go more than 1/2 a mile away. The photo quality is excellent! Best In Show for the price!

first night i had drone i was flying it around neighborhood. Is extremely user friendly for beginner. Takes really cool pics and video's as well.

This thing is fantastic. smooth beautiful video. easy to learn. I recommend buying the Litchi app instead of the DJI stock app. it's so much more advanced and allows you to open up some limitations that DJI put on the standard. with the app, it lets you do things that only the advanced or pro let you do.

Super easy to use and lots of fun! Have played with it for many hours. Takes a little getting used to.

I was very skeptical to buy a drone at first because I did not think that I would use it as much as the price suggests I should. I have used it almost every day since I bought it two weeks ago. This thing is amazing. I did my research before buying and absolutely love it. Getting that thing 400 feet in the air and looking around is amazing.
