The Phantom 3 offers professional quality ariel views of anything you can legally fly over. Once you register with the FAA and charge the battery it's super easy to use in beginner mode. Push a button to take off and the controller keeps you from getting too far away. When the battery is running low an alarm alerts you and you can simply push another button to land in the same spot where you took off. Of course you can take it out of beginner mode and fly to the limit of the controller's communications. The camera is excellent in snapshot and video modes, because the gimbal keeps the lens very steady. I find myself saying frequently, "wow all this capability for the price."

Great beginner drone. At first sight, the body and seems fragile but actually can take a heavy beating after first few beginner crashes. Camera is crystal clear and exceeded expectations.

This is my first drone and it's fantastic. The beginner mode makes learning to fly easy. Linking my phone to the remote and camera was simple. The video quality, 2.7k, is amazing.

This being 1 of 6 drones used for our business. Being the least expensive, the picture quality is the same as one we have that was nearly 5 times as much. Also simple to fly.

I really like this drone a lot. It is my first drone purchase and I'm extremely satisfied. The camera is awesome and I've had lots of fun with this thing so far. I crashed it once but it was my fault because I was too close to a tree and caught a limb. Luckily it comes with two sets of propellers. I threw on the brand new ones because I broke one, and it flew like brand new again. Read instructions before use and become as familiar as possible with these before flying and it will pay off! These are NOT TOYS! I watched lots of videos and did a lot of research before buying one. I'm glad I did as I'm still flying it successfully!

My step son is in love with this! It has a great distance range and he's been able to take/film some awesome pictures/videos.

I got this drone for myself to blow some spare time and take some awesome pictures and it does just that. My only gripe is the cost of the extra batteries since the flight time is only 30 minutes otherwise is a great entry level drone.

Great drone with really good still shots. Video good at 2.7k. I ended up taking back and getting the Mavic... yes, cost twice as much, but it flys better and so compact! Video is very good as well. Still shot slightly better on Phantom 3

This Is awesome goes far recommend Using beginner mode for a while also learn how to calibrate. Watch videos. Camera is great and so is gps better buy extra props. Fun as heck

This drone is amazing.Simple to fly, video and photos are crystal clear and the return home feature is a must on all drones.Expensive in price in know but well worth the $$$.

Never flew one and it is simple to fly it and video tape . It's tricky updating the firmware with the phone but it's easy after that. Battery last about 20 min only.

It's a great drone with easy to use controls and functions. However, it needs an app to function so make sure your phone will work with this drone! Good video quality!

my wife bought this for my birthday. i have flown mini drones before but this was easier to fly. using gps, it alsmost flies it self! it's great for beginners.

Easy, but robust controls. Amazing camera. The perfect quadcopter if you're ready to move past toy drones and get into the pro-sumer, serious hobbyist stuff.

For a beginner, this is the best option. But the performance is like a Pro. Love the video quality and stability of this drone. You won't go wrong with this.

Excellent beginner drone. Easy to fly. Stable platform for video or still images. Excellent flight time. Return-to-home function is invaluable for drone newbies.
