Purchased to replace the Parrot I received for Christmas; however quickly wanted to upgrade (Tim the toolman syndrome) to the Professional version to gain the distance and video quality desired.

I don't have much experience with drones, and it may have been ambitious to start off with this one but I found it easy to use. Honestly, the most complicated part of using this drone, is making sure that it is updated with the latest software, which you must do by connecting it to your phone. It will not let you fly it unless you do so. Once you are used to that, it's easy to pick up on how to actually drive the drone.

This drone is so much fun to fly, and captures some good quality video as well. Only gave 4 stars because the flight time could be a bit longer.

My son wanted a drone for Christmas and of course I have no clue what to buy. Asked a worker there at Best Buy and she seemed to be very knowledgeable about this product. I purchased it and my son wrecked it the first hour of flight time. Thank god i had purchased additional insurance and it was sent off to be repaired. He loves it and shows me the videos he records while flying the drone. They look really cool.

Awesome beginner drone! Has a great camera and not very expensive when it comes to quality drones.

I gave this drone to my techie husband for Christmas, he didn't ask for it, and he didn't even show any interest in drones but I thought it would be something he would enjoy since he loves all things tech. I was absolutely right. He is out flying every chance he gets and has done some really neat things with the photo and video. I have even flown it and I'm not a very technical person. Definitely a great buy.

It's hard to overstate how happy I am with the DJI Phantom 3! This is my first professional drone for use with aerial photography, mapping, and more, and I can tell you that it makes these tasks incredibly enjoyable. Every time I'm out flying someone approaches me with a zillion questions as they debate getting one themselves.

I have been wanting a dji phantom ever since I first saw a video on YouTube about the original DJI phantom. So far I haven't been able to get much flying in because it's been windy where I live but the one flat I did get on a good day the video was amazing the controls were relatively easy I just need more practice so I can start doing some really good videos.

I like the phantom 3 standard, it is easy to fly and appears to be decent quality.

I purchased the DJI - Phantom 3 Standard Quadcopter as a beginners drone, and while I feel like it was a good start, the app is not very user friendly and needs some major improvement. In hindsight it is a bit expensive for what it is.

it has a very good camera and flys great would recomend to any one looking for a drone
