I have now had this drone for just about a year and it is the best purchase I have made at Best Buy, probably, ever. Like most people I was nervous about flying a drone this expensive. I have purchased cheaper "toy" drones that were almost impossible to fly. This thing is SOOO EASY!! If you a looking at getting into aerial photography this is the perfect way to do it on the cheap.

As a photography buff I decided to enter into the world of drones and after doing many online revues I went for the affordable and versatile DJI Phantom 3 Standard. Its an amazing drone for the money! I fly it at least once a week and love it. One drawback is it won't go farther than a mile from you but that's fine if you're just looking to begin your aerial photography hobby/career.

It is a great drone for beginners. It is easy to operate and takes excellent pictures. Me and my son enjoy flying our drones.

This is a great 1st time drone or one for advanced. Highly recommend. While Best Buy tries to know about it's products, I can say the staff is lacking in drone experience. Also the accessories are limited. So I would do your homework on line and know what you are looking for before going into the store. And I asked 3 different Best Buy locations before just doing the research myself.

This is a great drone for beginners, and semi-pros alike. The GPS enabled go home feature is very helpful. The drone is smart enough to know if it is in a no fly area, and the battery is top notch. The only thing it is really lacking are good instructions! There are some that can be downloaded from the manufacture's site, but the best training comes from users You Tube videos.

This is my first quad copter, very happy with the p3s and it has a great camera system. Only complaint is if you need customer support from DJI good luck.

Although this drone may be overpriced, as the price does keep going down it will be great. The actual drone is simply incredible and fascinating. Features such as taking off and landing at the push of a button are amazing and the controls are easy. I have no worries when flying because i trust the smartness of the technology DJI put into it. Extraordinary product!!!!

After lots of research I went out and purchased the Phantom 3 Standard and I am in love. It is so easy to learn to fly and has a beginner mode to help you learn. It took a matter of minutes to have my iphone connected and in the drone in the air after the battery was charged. Take your time and watch the tutorial videos on the app while the battery is charging.

We have a farm and my husband will be using the Phantom to check his cows and his hay fields. He is really excited and can't wait to start using it.
