It's a great drone. I've gotten some pretty impressive shots and height. However distance is lacking. Maybe 1/8 miles away. Not the described 1/2 mile

It's cool to get that view, but it is obnoxiously loud and draws a lot of attention during flight. I am glad it does not blow away though.

This was my first drone so I didn't know exactly what to expect. Much to my surprise this flying camera ran through the updates rather fast and was ready to fly. It starts off in beginner mode so it will only fly about 100' up and 100' away from you and I suggest that you leave it on beginner mode for at least the first day if you are a new pilot. VERY EASY to learn to fly, takes awesome HD pictures and video. I read many reviews about drones and DJI Phantom was at the top of most every top 10 drone list I read. Got an awesome deal at Best Buy for $699.00 with an extra battery, props, and hard shell case. Will fly approx. 25 min. on (1) battery. I do advise getting the prop guards plus an extra battery because you won't want to put it down.

This drone is so much fun to have specially if you're a person who loves outdoors.
