Purshased to try out DJI Drones and this thing is amazing. Its really easy to flight and not risk of lossing it since its program to come back to its take off point.

Easy to use & fun to fly around. Have had a little software issues and update issues, but functions… Ours is for recreational use, so it's perfect. Wouldn't go to the professional one unless that was my profession.

Great drone - bought as a gift for my 14 year old grandson. Complex enough to make flying interesting , yet vary stable and predictable. Should provide a good first use / learning base for a new flyer.

Now there's tons of different brand drones out there but the phantom standard is the best, so easy to handle and so many cool features !

Purchased this drone for my 13 year old son and he loves it. Best Christmas gift ever he tells me. Picture quality is great. Relatively easy to fly although he is still getting used to it. The only issue he has is that his cell phone battery drains very quickly (probably the phone). Anyway, this appears to be a great entry level drone.

This is a great entry level or beginner drone! I have had zero problems with it so far. Setup is somewhat tedious with firmware updates, but once you get through that and charged up this thing is a dream to fly. I recommend DJI products to anyone! If you are thinking about a drone get this one!

I enjoy flying the Phamtom Standard ...It is easy to start basics and I have not gotten into more complicated maneuvers...I still have a lot to learn about it, but I enjoy the challenge at my age(85)...I would definitely recommend this product....

This is our first drone. It is very easy to use and takes awesome pictures, video.

Husband is like a little boy w/his new toy on Christmas morning.He's loving every bit of it. I got this for $600 on Black Friday. I would suggest buying it as a bundle w/an extra battery and a case because that is what he's asking for now. Happy to see him enjoying this new innovative toy. I would not suggest this drone for a child. NOTE: by law you are now required to register these drones

Only giving this 4 Stars because of a few reasons. 1. The GPS issues I've had are mainly due to outside influences. Without a range extender, you're not going to be able to fly very high, or very far. 2. Not the best camera, but it's good enough for hobby stuff. If you want better video quality, buy the Phantom 4 pro or the DJI Mavic Pro. 3. You're only going to get about 20 minutes of flight time. Invest in extra batteries if you want to capture a lot of footage. Other than that, the drone is amazing. Make sure you learn the controls and do not do the stop propeller commands in mid-air.

I bought this for my husband for father's day, he loves it, the handling and stability are wonderful the range is great, the pictures are quality photos. We took it to Crystal river and other guests at the condo were very impressed and asking lots of questions and wanting to go purchase one for themselves.

The DJI Phantom 3 Standard is a super easy to fly drone at a fantastic price point. The video and photo quality is better than most pro grade DSLR camera system plus the awesome shots of an aerial view. There is not a easier drone to fly with guilt in GPS positioning, compass and return home function...and more.

This is my first drone and so far it has been excellent. Very user friendly, great range, very good video and picture capabilities. $500 is expensive but so far it is worth every penny. I've recommended it to 3 people so far and all are very happy with it. I would definitely purchase again!
