My drone fall from the sky when flying wanna fix it

First of all, the Phantom 3 Standard is my first and only drone I have flown. There may be better ones out there...I'm not the expert here. What I can say is that flying the P3S has been a lot of fun. I was worried about the potential difficulty of flying but it is so easy. To initially get going, charge the included battery and controller, download the DJI app, calibrate the drone n camera, and then fly time! Flying, maneuvering, and landing this drone are easy and fun tasks. The camera is great and the 2.7K video is awesome. The coolest thing is even when it's been windy the camera stays focused and stable. I especially love how you can change the angles of the camera to give different shots in midair. Honestly, so far I am very happy with this drone.

Very easy drone for beginners with a minimal cost. There are many how to videos on YouTube which should be viewed if you've never flown before. There are also a few things people should know before buying any drone. 1) you have to register it with the FAA. 2) Unless you own a swath of land. The places you are allowed to fly are very limited. 3) I recommend downloading the Before you Fly app. It will inform you of any restrictions for the location you choose to fly. Other than these things. The drone itself is outstanding. Stable video/picture platform. Auto hover, return home feature, easy to navigate/understand DJI app. For $500 it's one of the best investments I've made. Hope this was helpful.

Bought this for my 12 year old son and had some issues getting it to work to start off with. After a few software updates, was able to take it out and "test" it for him. He'll be lucky if he gets it back! Had it on beginner mode so I wasn't able to take it too far out, but even in the back yard this thing was AWESOME FUN. Takes great pictures. Haven't tried the video. My biggest worry would be that it was too fragile for him. After I crashed it (at full speed a few times) I knew it would be able to handle us both. I have never written a review before, but after not being sure about this purchase, I am so impressed that I had to share. This is our first drone and I'm ready to go get another one since it is so much fun!

This drone is great for someone wanting to seriously explore RC drones as a real enthusiast. This is not a toy but a professional beginners drone. I liken this to traxxis RC trucks, way better than a $40 toy and it shows. Keep an eye on the DJI forums as some people complain about some of the firmware updates, ive kept mine on the stock firmware and its great. Ive got some truly great images of Appalachia in Western, NC where I live. With drones, the more rural you are the better! 10/10

I could fly this thing every day. It gives you a whole new perspective on video/pictures. You to see areas you have always wonder whats over there (not that I was spying). I really looked at all of the DJI Drones and compared them and what separated them apart were the flight times. Just about every spec I compared wasn't much difference in them. If you can compare pricing, I got mine for $399. Buy extra propellers because you will crash it unless you have been flying before. Beginners mode is awesome and will get you use to the controls. Get an extra battery. Charging times for the batteries are approximately an hour I think. Battery will be used more if flying on windy days. Distance is about the only thing I wished you could go further but there are numerous youtube videos about items you can add to the remote to extend the range of the drone.

I purchased the DJI P3S from Best Buy in early Jan. 2017, after flying my sons Sharper Image DX-4 FPV drone with him. This drone is loaded with features and if you take the time to read the instructions and watch the videos on the DJI website, you will have a good understanding of how to operate it. It is loaded with safety features to be prevent "fly aways" and will return to home (RTH) when the battery is low or by simply pushing the home button on your tablet or smart phone. It takes amazing pictures and video. If you're looking for an amazing GPS, camera,live feed drone, but don't want to spend a ton of money, the P3S should be your choice.

I love my Phantom standard 3. It was a little hard to connect at first. After all the work though, OMG I get amazing videos and pictures from over 200ft up. I can get photos like never before. I have flown it 5 times and it gets easier and so much fun! Get a Phantom you cant go wrong!

I purchased this drone, due the difficulties I had with another brand. This quadcopter is far superior that the one I have used in the past. Read all the directions, and set everything up, it works like a champ. Very easy setup and fly, especially with the beginner mode.

This drone is so stable and easy to fly, that anyone can fly it. By default it comes configured for a beginner. On the cell phone app there is a button to takeoff, return home, and land. The drone actually talks to you through the cell phone.

Before you buy a DJI product consider this: Your warranty will be void and DJI Care not honored if you buy after market or third party parts including batteries and chargers. If you go to the store the selection of parts is miserable. Your only other source of genuine DJI parts is DJI. If you order from them expect very long delays and unresponsive service. Be sure to register for DJI Care as soon as you activate or you will get locked out of the care program. Not sure it has any value anyway do to poor company communication. If you send your drone back or require any kind of service expect very slow communication (weeks for email responses) and long wait times (sometimes several hours on hold). Also, don't expect to get any resolution from chat...it seems they always have to get back with you. This is not my first drone and will not be the last but I will never buy DJI again due to the service and support. As long as you never expect to crash, update firmware, or add any accessories then the DJI products isn't too bad. It flies well. Very stable. Takes beautiful photos/video. Easy to use once you have figured it out and there are a lot of third party youtubes and instructions that are very helpful. I really wish I had paid more attention to the one star ratings - they are all about service and you don't learn that lesson until it is too late.

This was my first drone. I do photography and it is fun to fly. Very easy to operate.

This was my first drone and I am amazed on what it can do. The remote allows you to have full control of the drone. Allows you to bring the drone back with the press of a button (using the app). This feature is necessary after you've flown the drone so far that you can no longer see it. My only regret is that I didn't buy the advance model. This model is the Standard and it is great but now that ive flown it so many times I wish it could fly further. I should have saved up more money to buy the advanced. I recommend anyone considering this model to just save up a few more dollars and get the advance model. I promise you wont regret it.

I would not recommend this product to anyone ever. I purchased this product at Bestbuy in my area on black Friday. On the following Saturday I was at a friends house and flew the drone. The drone flew the first time and it was really cool. I went to fly this drone the 2nd time and upon lift off the drone immediately flew into the garage. I was at the end of the driveway. I took it to the park later and it did the same thing..it took off then flew in a crazy direction. I was not touching the controller again with this happen. The last time is when the camera broke off. I contacted DJI on 12/1/15 and was sent a label to send my device to them for repair. I sent my device in that day with the label I was sent. As I waited for my device to be checked in I continued to check the website for my ticket and it was never updated saying that it arrived. I went to check the tracking and saw that the device had been delivered but again DJI never updated my device to state it had arrived. I called DJI 12/18/15 and was informed my device had in fact been received and there was a quote for repairs.....a quote for repairs? The agent sent me an invoice and said I should have received it prior which I did not. So I checked my email to find out what repair invoice they were talking about. DJI quoted me a repair for $280. DJI claimed "Non warranty repair per flight log analysis. Mid air collision and motors cut by pilot" Really? Why would I cut lie. My 2 friends were there with me when it crashed the first time and when I was at the park there were 10 people that were watching me because they wanted to see it fly and it did the same and crashed on its own. When I talked to the rep 12/18/15 He told me I could respond to my ticket and it would be reviewed. So I did respond to my ticket on 12/18/15 saying the following; Mod air collision??? Really. That's not what happen. On the 2nd flight flying this drone in the front yard it immediately took off from the ground and flew into the garage without me even touching the controller. How is that my fault? I flew it again and it worked. I took it to the park later and it did the same thing..it took off then flew in a crazy direction. I was not touching the controller again with this happen. The last time is when the camera broke off. How is that my fault? And why would I cut the motor on a $700 plus item? That's stupid and I don't deserve to be told these lies. My drone should be fixed under warranty because I did not cause any of these problems to this drone. I DID NOT GET A RESPONSE So I posted again on the 12/26/15 saying the following I want my case reviewed. There is no way I cut anything on this drone. And this drones sensor messed up which is why it was flying in crazy directions and doing strange things. I did nothing to cause this and I'm being charged. My friend flew his into a building and he sent it to you all and it was fixed free by you all. It's not even my fault this drone started taking off in crazy directions and crashed as soon as it took off. I don't understand why I am being charged when he was not and he caused his own drone to crash. STILL NO RESPONSE So I called today 12/29/15 and was told they would not be fixing my drone because what they stated in the invoice I was sent. I tried to explain again over the phone after waiting on hold for an hour and was still denied to be fixed under warranty. The agent informed me to post a reply to have my device sent back unfixed and he would forward to the correct department. OH WAIT NOW THEY WANT TO LOOK AT CUSTOMER REPLIES ON THEIR WEBSITE. MY REPLY Please send this drone back unrepaired, I will not be paying for the cost but will be submitting a BBB complaint and stating this on social media. FINAL THOUGHTS For a drone to cost as much as it did $600 plus dollars you would think the service would be better. But its not. Just know that if you buy this device and it malfunctions DJI will try their best to blame the incident on the customer and get more money out of you. I am now stuck with a drone that does not work and dealing with a company that does not update their tickets on their own website.

This is our 1st drone so I don't know how it compares to others, but we figured it would be a good beginner drone that didn't break our bank account. I only have 2 complaints, it says it's ready to fly straight out of the box, but it needed a firmware update and apparently it didn't install properly so the drone would not connect to iPhone or RC. Once our friend reinstalled the firmware it worked just fine. Second, my husband clipped a tree branch and crashed it. The camera mount broke and caused the ends of the wifi antennas to pull off. The wifi antennas were out of stock everywhere and DJI didn't even sell them. So parts for the standard are harder to find than ones for the advanced or professional. Other than that my husband loves his drone

Very user-friendly and at 399 that's a real bargain I paid more just 2 weeks ago but anyway very easy to fly. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Also has a great camera.

Ease of setup, ease of pperation, and professional quality images make this a great choiice. Best to fly with minimal wind, though, as tilting occurs easily.

Overall a great drone, easy to fly, and perfect for beginners. Great camera quality. It's a great price for all of the features you get in the drone.
