This is a great drone but it does have a few flaws. The phone mount on my drone broke easily and the lens cover had stripped threading so it took a lot of work to get it off and fix the threading. If you have any issues with this drone DJI support is awful so you are on your own.

Your sales person was very helpful and he's is your manager.

Fun and Easy to use but I thought the range would be greater.

If you are buying this for the vision obstacle avoidance system DON'T! The system is full of bugs. I've had my drone in for service longer than I've owned it and DJI can't get the system to work. It randomly shuts off or doesn't see obstacle until it's to late.

This is my 2nd Phantom 4 purchased. First one was white Phantom 4. I liked the black color so chose to go with the special edition for second one. Nothing but issues. Originally I had to return because the battery would not charge and now the unit I exchanged for has connectivity issues way too often. Avoid special edition and stick to original white Phantom 4.

I did review the phantom 4 quadcoper before buying but , then I found more reviews of legal issues of having to call in to the FFA to get permission to fly it everytime . So when I found out about this I returned it never opened. I wanted to use it to take scenic above views of beaches and parks but that isn't allowed . So the low stars rating is because of this issue with the FFA and also I never opened the box and flew it. I'm sure it's a really awesome drone but not worth trying out and getting a fine .

I've flown armattan copters for years now and I finally decided to get a "ready to fly out of the box" drone. After much consideration to other companies, I went with the Phantom 4 because it seems to be the standard for mainstream drones today. I can say with confidence now that I understand why - this drone just WORKS. The amount of quadcopters on the market can be intimidating but have no fear. If you get a Phantom 4, you will be happy with how incredibly stable it operates and the images you get from the camera are stunning. With all of the smart features implemented and the active avoidance sensors, it's a piece of cake to fly. I would highly recommend this drone to anyone getting in to this technology!

The Phantom 4 is the drone everyone has been waiting for. If you want to shoot the most incredible footage and stills from the air in 4K there is no better way! The best part is how easy DJI has made the features. The Phantom 4 is so stable it won't drift more than an inch or two even in the strongest winds! On top of that, the obstacle avoidance is unreal! It's almost impossible to crash this thing! Great work DJI, this is the drone we've all been waiting for! Worth every penny!!

I bought the phantom when I should of bought the phantom pro.

After having tried numerous other drones, we decided to try this product. It sounded good in reviews and we were excited. Had nothing but problems with it and the app. Will be avoiding anything further by this manufacturer.

I am somewhat of a professional drone hobbiest in that I have owned or still own several drones including the 3DR Solo DJI Phantom 3 pro and Phantom 4. I've had my phantom 4 since they were released. I can honestly say that the 4 is by far my favorite. I've probably flown 100 hours on the 4 and so far, it has lived up to all my expectations. It's stable, predictable and takes great video. The range on the 4 is unbelievable. If I have any concerns at all it is that my confidence in the 4 pushes me to exceed my normal boundaries and fly this thing in places I wouldn't have thought about before. It's just that good though. First time buyers and more experienced flyers will all no doubt appreciate the Phantom 4.
