Antenna brakes really easy hard to find part and places to get fix

Not worth $1300. It was nice to try out but need to be made stronger

I have had almost 3 years experience flying drones, all DJI Phantoms. Never had a crash, couple of hard landings though, my fault as I was learning. On my 3rd flight with this, I was filming at approx 300 ft and started bringing the drone down on a medium speed decent. I stopped the decent by releasing the toggle at 11 ft from surface of the water and the drone kept going down- the cameras on board that are designed to prevent crashes didn't work either. Total loss and very disappointed with DJI as they offered no help at all.

I bought this and it was awesome. Unfortunately a year later they wont warrenty the controller. There has been a known issue that DJI refuses to own up to, and they only offer a 6 month warrenty on controllers. Nice $1200 Paper weight.

Bought as a X-Mas gift for my husband, he has been trying to down load the program into his Ipad that hasn't worked then tried into my surface you are suppose to Scan a code to down load. and haven't had any luck so right now I give it a one star my husband has been doing his homework for many days so until we visit the Best Buy electronics team this will stay a 1 star review and right now wouldn't recommend it to a friend. But as far as how well it is built that I would give a 5 star review

I've been messing around with my Phantom 4 for a few weeks now. I couldn't be happier with its features, sturdy design, and incredible camera. I'm blown away by the creative perspective I now have at my fingertips anytime I want. Video that use to cost $600 an hour in a helicopter I can now shoot in minutes for the pennies it cost me in electricity to charge the battery. Absolutely blown away by the collision avoidance, autonomous flight features (ActiveTrak is my favorite!), and it can stay in flight for 25-30 minutes! None of my drones in the past have gotten more than 12 minutes so this is crazy helpful for getting the most out of the camera and more time for fun!

Very time consuming to download app and calibrate before you can fly. After 1 week of not getting it calibrated we returned it. Too much trouble

I hate the company now more than ever. they have made it so difficult to get your drone repaired and if you send it to them for repair then forget about getting it back in 2 months. Even if it comes back earlier then they would sent an nonworking model back. The drone itself might be good but if you break it you really out of luck after you have spent more 1200 dollars. Also they only allow you to buy insurance within 24 hours of activation. so no luck in getting any insurance for your drone.

Purchased two version 3s one had a non functioning remote would not recognize any device. the other the battery for the drone would not charge. This version 4 remote works on android (sometimes and would disconnect) but not with iPhone. For so much money these have too many issues bestbuy need to serious consider dropping these things DJI clearly is doing something wrong. I'd go crazy if it disconnected mid flight and flew away so I'm returning this item for a refund.

Bought this drone on July 22nd after installing the firmware upgrade and charging all 3 batteries plus controller I took this out to give it a try. Absolutely love it extremely easy to fly in gps mode and it hovers perfectly in place with little to no movement even in winds at 10mph. The video quality is amazing I shoot in 4k at 30pfs with shutter speed at 60 and iso between 100-200. To have some fun with it I put it in active track and went jogging by a lake near sunset and the images are breathtaking, the drone followed me the entire time which was about 20-22 min. I also tried POI (points of interest) and waypoints worked perfectly. Would highly recommend to anyone who does photography, wanna make breath taking videos or just as a hobby. I have never flown any drone before this, but did my research on youtube watching others and learning before I bought it. It's that simple. Now sport mode and attitude mode will take some time to get use to. This is not a toy, the obstacle avoidance on it works like it's suppose to it can only see objects in front not to the side, above or below with that said stay away from tree's they can be your worst enemy.

The DJI Phantom 4 is the next step in the Phantom series. This is the fourth generation, me personally owning the Phantom 2 and now the 4. My friend has the 3 and I was very impressed with the advancements. When the 4 was released, the features outweighed the price point so I pulled the trigger. This aircraft is the perfect example of a stable easy to fly drone. The images are amazing and the video looks really good. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get into drone technology - don't worry. It's so easy to fly, you'll find yourself having fun and not worrying about anything.

My elite 4 was defective from the start everything was not what or where it needed to be. Took it back to best buy and the gave me a new white original 4 drone. It's been awesome since I started using it. Don't know why the elite came defective.

First, be sure you have a compatible cell phone or Tablet in order to operate and record your flights. This is a very stable aircraft with an excellent 4K camera. It has forward vision positioning systems as well as downward positioning. GPS & non GPS operation, records home position and shows you where you are and how to get back to the starting point. Comes with a 16gb SD card for recording stunning video, which can be edited via their app. There are tutorials available and recommended before flight if you're new to drones. I recommend a second battery and screw on lens kit (for day time recording) for full enjoyment as the first ~20 minute flight goes quickly. Beginner mode is a fail safe to get you comfortable with flying. From there, the sky's the limit.

So we were loving this drone right up until it was taking a picture and it dropped right into a lake from 176ft. Turns out there's a fault in the drone (it shouldn't if been able to do this with all the flight systems)

I have tried to fly in many places in New York and it shows no fly zone . It did not fly. Funny thing is few days back I tried to fly near Brooklyn bridge without set the home point and it landed on water and I lost it. My 1200$ is under the water . It should be more advance .

Well, this one exceed my expectatives!! its amazing, very simple to fly, very stable, the camera works incredible, and the app its simple to use. If you need a drone for work as a photografer o simple as a hobby, this one its the right one. Its my first drone, and im in love. All the technology that uses it makes more safe to fly, and reduces the risk of crashes. It worth every dolar!

This drone is what everyone has been waiting for. From the camera quality to the ease of flight, it does what it was designed to do, and does it exceedingly well. It is extremely stable, and the smart flight modes work great. Shoots great 4k and handles wind well, and the carrying case that it comes with doesn't leave you wanting more unless you carry tons of spare batteries or need to do some serious hiking. All in all, great drone.

Great drone without support. Remote control battery has a fault and DJI is doing nothing to resolve it. Review GoPro drone as an alternative, maybe better support.

I was decided to buy the Yuneec Typhoon H until I start to read many reviews and comparisons with the P4. Both Drones are great but the P4 stands alone in some features that simply are better than the H. One of them is the Smart Battery in the P4. You can see the level without be connected in the drone. This feature helps you to maintain your lipo-batteries in optimal charge and the flying time is much longer than the Typhoon H. The other thing was the size. The P4 is more portable between the two.The other thing that I saw in many reviews was that the range with the P4 was longer without losing video feed. And last was the price. The basic Typhoon has avoidance system like the P4 but only in the front. If you want the complete avoidance system like the P4 you have to go to the more expensive Typhoon H Pro. I really love both drones, don't get me wrong, but this time I went for the people experiences and for the bang for the money. This is my first drone ever and I really love it. Take your time before the first flight. Do your firmware updates and use the simulator. If you take your time, you will enjoy this magnificent hobby.
