I have to say I have ZERO buyers remorse and would strongly recommend this product to anyone looking to get into the Drone hobby. Within 15 minutes I was able to easily control the copter. If you have the extra cash I definitely recommend this product!!!

Phenomenal Aircraft

With the downlink video to my phone or iPad, I can get a real time view of the camera in the air with this thing. No lag! The photos are crystal clear and the video quality is better looking than my GoPro. Very happy with the purchase, DJI you've made me a happy camper so far!

Great product, but not perfect...

So this "black" version is a "BEST BUY ONLY" - when I tried to price match the same one (just different color) it was quickly shot down by a manager who said it's only sold by Best Buy and you won't find it else where- (Model number ended in BBY) there is NO difference between the BEST BUY (black) AND AND STANDARD WHITE VERSION!! Nothin extra nothing fancy The camera is beautiful, I was able to record and do some live feeds on facebook with mines and it was true 4K. It does work better during the day than it does when the sun is falling. the sensors that prevent a crash are. It working because of low light. What I did notice was that one of the motors kept failing while in the air and causing this aircraft to return back home. I would still have about 20/30% left of battery and it would still fail- I contacted DJI and just recommended to return it as it was. Sad to to say after having the unit for 48-hours, not worth 1200 +tax if it doesn't work properly lol What I am going to do is return this and just wait a couple more weeks for the Mavic pro to be back in stock- seeing it seems to be the newest model and about $300 cheaper- Look into that before dishing out the $1200- sounds like it's worth the wait...

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.first drone owner. i am amazed at what this thing can do and how easy it is to fly. cons: terrible customer service, mine came with a cracked camera lens cover glass, dji wanted me to send the whole unit in at my expense, they were to cheap just send me a replacement little piece of glass. i just purchased an aftermarket for less than shipping would cost. there has also been a few glitches here and there but nothing too bad. my biggest gripe is the distance of flight, i only get 1 mile at best, most the time only about 1/2 mile. i still enjoy the phantom 4 very much. it takes good photos and video, its extremely stable and easy to fly. just dont expect advertised flight distance and costumer service.

Best Drone for the Money

From all the reviews I could find, be it on social media or YouTube or print, they were all the same. Going head-to-head and feature-to-feature with other drones, this one was the best. And it wasn't even close. The people at Best Buy were very good when it came to quickly purchasing this and looking up info that would save money on the purchase. They are becoming more and more a consistent place for my small-business business. :-) Nice job, Best Buy.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this drone for about 2 months now and it has been flawless The only downside I would give it , is that I had to go out and buy an ipad surface tablet for it. It worked fine with my Samsung note 4, but did not work with my galaxy tab. This thing is very easy to learn to fly and will go around 50mph as noted. You must be at least 1 extra battery because you will not want to put this thing down. Highly recommended product!!!

Great Product With The Worst Support Known To Man

With its sleek design and clean looks not to mention the epic shots with the video you thought this would be the best drone company around. Well that's what I thought until I crashed it due to a GPS error sending it into a tree when I wanted it to go home. The best part was after the crash there were no performance issues at all it ran just like it did before and I felt incredibly lucky. However, there was a lot of terrible scratches on the body and even a severe dent on the top of it as well as one leg almost being chipped completely off. So, I thought big deal nothing expensive got damaged and everything technical-wise was fine and I just send it in to get a new body for it. To start off, I called support and it took around 40 minutes to get in contact with someone. Then when I did and explained what had happened the lady on the phone (who I could tell was foreign) instructed me to update the firmware. I thought this was obviously a joke as that had nothing to do with it so I said alright I did and she said, "Ok everything works now?" Then it got to me she was serious and when I explained again I had extensive cosmetic damage she said exactly this "Sorry, fly tomorrow to see if ok, really busy now need to talk to other person" and hung up on me. Stupefied I called right back and got a hold of someone who sounded like they were actually from the U.S. they then told me I could send it in but they are NOT able to replace the body. I would have to swap it with a new drone and after evaluation if everything really performed right I am looking at $300 USD. This price to me was outrageous, they are basically telling me the cost of a body is $300 when just the gimbal itself is around that much. After asking if I could talk to a supervisor regarding the price he told me a supervisor cant speak to me on this issue and either I pay the money to swap or they can't do anything else. I finally surrendered my wallet and sent it in, I told them before hand I needed the thing back no longer than 4 weeks as I needed to use it for my photography business. They said I could but need to pay an additional $50 which I did but tried fighting against. 3 Weeks later I call to check up on it and they said they received it 3 days ago when FedEx said they received it 2 weeks before I called them. The man told me they haven't begun evaluation of it to see whether I can do the swap but he would expedite the process. 3 days later I call back to make sure and still get the same response. Not until 5 weeks after they got it did they evaluate it and confirm the swap getting a free $50 out of me for "expedited evaluation". Then it wasn't until the 7th week I got the thing and boy, was I infuriated. This company lost me money not being able to get me back the drone for a certain date I was supposed to take pictures for a customer, more money than the drone in fact. This is when I called to make a complaint that I saw the full ugly side of DJI support, the lady I got told me, " We are so sorry! We would be happy to offer you 10% off another drone if you but one." Being ticked off I told her straight up that your company has such an amazing product but due to its lousy support I will never EVER buy from DJI again and tell everyone I can not to buy DJI just because of the support. So here I am spreading the news. A year after receiving the phantom from DJI I have since bought from autel whose drone is up to par with DJI's and has unparalleled support to them. After flying it I was dumb and didn't lock a propeller (I know pretty bad for someone who flies these for a living) and broke the gimbal, they said it usually costs around $320 but since they feel bad they would give me a replacement for $120. So I sent them it and in 1 week I had something done that would've taken DJI a 7 week fiasco and I did it for less money than DJI. So, there you have it. DJI has a company with an amazing product with the worst support known to man while autel has almost a just as good product with unparalleled support.

Great new Drone series

There are a few models in this line these days and depending on your budget you can't really go wrong with any of them. This drone is freeing to fly and takes amazing pictures and video. It's truly amazing "how in the moment" you will be while navigating your new Drone!

Near Perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First I'd like to say my experience at Best Buy was fantastic. The sales associate was friendly, and very knowledgeable about the drones Best Buy sold. Getting home, I was like a child on Christmas day, I couldn't wait to open it up and check it out. I wasn't let down, everything was packaged perfectly. Every part of the drone, and even the case is built, and designed to a extreme high standard. Then the problem, I did a bit of research trying to figure out which tablet I needed to get (for the DJI Go app) through forums and video's I decided on the Nvidia Shield K1. It's for gaming so the input lag is low, plus it has a HDMI output for future FPV goggles. Flying with the new tablet the app crashed twice during flight. I stopped flying and decided to investigate the problem. Apparently the DJI Go app has issues with the recent upgrade to Android 7, previous to getting the tablet I used my Moto X using Android 6 and had no issues. The Android app has a 2.9 rating, pretty bad for something that is required to fly the drone. At this point my options are, buy the Litchi app for $25 that replaces the Go app, buy a iPad Mini 4 for $400, or return the drone and buy something else. I was leaning towards returning the drone for a GoPro Karma, but ordered the iPad instead. DJI really needs to get it together with their Android app. Apparently if you are on Apple everything works smoothly, and is always first to receive new updates.

Great But Still Some Common Issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice case, solid copter and controls. My main issues and it seems to be a theme for DJI is the horizon. The gimbals on all their drones have horizon issues. Point it forward and don't move the unit, you're ok. However, turn to the left or right and your horizon is off. About 15 degrees off. Very noticeable and the gimbal manual roll adjust does not stay where you set it. Then again, once you center the copter again, the horizon is off. The gimbal does not know how to stay level. That's a major problem for a machine thats used for taking photos or video.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buy far the best drone available. Easy piloting, with superb handelling. There is no better drone. My overall status showed "Battery Cell Broken, Stop Using The Battery And Contact DJI Support". I didn't even bother; took it to best buy, showed Geek Squad member that I only had 3 times charged on my screen shot, and they did a straight exchange. Best Buy customer service is the best. If your looking for a drone, spend the extra money and buy the Phantom 4, you will not be dissapointed. (Till the Mavic comes out anyways)

Just not worth it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.App is not for a first time user. Tap fly does not stop at ware you point it. It keeps going past. Set it at 200 feet away and went 350-400 befor i pulled back. Pulling back to stop it. It will drop 10 feet or so. I have a Q500+ and they say RTF and it was. Been flying for 40 years and i am 63. Seen it all. My first RC had vacuum tubes. I do know a little. Wish Best Buy Would sell yuncee. Just dont think P4's are worth the money. Wate and see. Their will be a lot of problems with this in the future. SORRY. WATE FOR THE NEW YUNCEE
