Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the amazing video quality and ease of use of the Pocket 2 3-Axis Stabilized 4K Handheld Camera. The compact size and impressive stabilization are also appreciated. However, some customers have noted that the battery life could be improved, and the device may experience some heating during high-quality recording.

Took mine to Colorado for our Christmas Trip it’s been capturing all the beautiful scenery. Indoors outdoors this little camera packs a punch and super easy to use. It looks better when you download the footage. It uses a small micro SD card. Get at least 128GB or more should be more than enough without having to worry about space.

You can not go wrong with ANY DJI product. I owned the OSMO POCKET 1 and used it for travel since 2019 !!!, and had nothing to complain about, Just upgraded to this newer model hoping to have it for a long time. Easy to use, very light, and GREAT PERFORMANCE

These are the best hand held video camera's around. The DJI Pocket Camera is perfect for our video production business when we need a quick interview or footage from another area. They are portable enough to mail, and so easy to use, (even for "non-tech" people). We have purchased 3 of them in the last few months.

This is such a nice video camera to be so small. I wish I had bought the combo package which included the wireless mic and do it all handle. I did however end up purchasing it separately but it is cheaper with the combo. Overall I am very happy with this camera. I now own the Osmo 1 and 2 lol.

One of my favorite combos from DJI. It does everything. Battery is solid, the accessories are solid, the use of it is solid. Ive had it for a year now and im not looking to replace it anytime soon. If you can, buy the bundle, way more value then buying it separately.

I wanted to like this more than I did. The accessibility, interface, size and feeling of shooting on this is great, but like all cameras getting a good outcome however is going to take some practice. Picked this up to play with it on my last vacation ended up using my phone more.

The DJI Pocket 2 fits nicely into a hard case included with the unit. The case does not add much bulk to the unit and helps protect the camera and gimbal mechanism. The controls on the Pocket 2 can be a little confusing. There are two main buttons on the front: the red "shutter" button to trigger the camera, and a "mode" button that switches between functions. However, there is also an optional joystick and button panel that you can slide into the Pocket 2. But when it comes time to transfer your recordings to your phone, you must remove this small panel and slide in the Lightning or USB-C connector into the same spot. I would have preferred that the joystick controls were a permanent feature and that the phone connections could simply be plugged into a port on the side of the unit. It seems odd that you need to remove the physical controls in order to access the data connections.

Amazing camera, the footage you get is top quality, the only issue is, the quality is so good, my computer is not good enough to edit it. I had to buy a new computer.

    Encore Pocket Camera

I bought this to replace an original Osmo that had started to flake out. The camera is excellent; a larger sensor and higher resolution photos and video. Other improvements show that DJI has spent some time thinking about how to make the thing better; little things like how the gimbal twists the camera into a more protected position when turning off, for example, and the fact that the slip-on "mini control stick" now is a 2D joystick that can pan and tilt at once. Nice. For those that have the original Osmo Pocket, the Pocket 2 works with most of the original's accessories, the form factor being almost identical. Irritatingly, though -- and nothing tells you this beforehand -- you must register the thing with DJI, using the MIMO app you must install on your phone... so yet another tracking beacon for what should be a device that has no business caring about your whereabouts. Really. It will let you power on five times. but after that, it will be an expensive dead weight until you finally do the registration. It can be defeated, but it takes a bunch of time and effort. Really, DJI: don't do that; overcome your voyeuristic desires and make "registration" optional. That brutish insistence of registration cost the review two stars, and a "don't recommend" designation. (I don't condone invasive behavior electronics products feel obliged to practice, and others are welcome to do so also; manufacturers won't do it if we don't buy it.)

Okay so I have mixed feelings about this. I purchased this and the OM 4 phone gimbal. IMO the DJI phone gimbal is a better value, cheaper, and more practical. I think this only makes sense if you need a really small device. It's not bad but I think it will be sitting on my shelf collecting dust.

I love this thing. It’s the perfect compliment to my drone and allows me to get cinematic video in my hand. There’s a bit of a learning curve initially, but with practice using it becomes second nature.

Perfect for on the go but still shooting for quality! I got it for my boyfriend who is a videographer & he loves having the option of having something smaller and compact when he can’t or doesn’t want to bring the camera! Quality & features are all there and size is perfect!

I love this camera, is small easy to use, practical and the quality is supreme for its size. I don’t like the picture quality to be honest as to me an iPhone takes better picture but in terms of Video, is way batter than a go pro
