The DJI Ronin S is a ...blah blah blah.. Who cares about review where people copy and paste specs.. Anyway, you know what it is if you've come here.. You have probably been waiting for it to be in stock for quite some time, I know I did.. In fact, Everytime I was about to take the plunge in getting the crane 2, I knew I would have regretted it even if I had to wait another few months to be able to get my hands on a Ronin S. This gimbal is a powerhouse, the motors are strong, its very forgiving, the roll axis although may be gimmicky, you never know when you'll need it. Every feature is better to have than to not have, because of the similar price range from other competitive gimbals on the market, that feature alone is worth it. We all have heard of DJI, or atleast the name of their drone line up, and we know DJI has made gimbals for a long time, and this one is their best yet. Don't spend 300+ more on their big bulky Ronin M, and don't spend a few stacks for a Osmo or anything else.. Need a gimbal that can handle big cinema cameras with easy? Need a gimbal that has battery life that won't make you stress about about? Need a gimbal that is reliable, easy to balance, user friendly with a pretty decent app.. The Ronin S is for you, now i'm not gonna waste anymore precious seconds of my earth life writing anymore about this, much work is to be done, May Jesus Bless You, and buy a Ronin S... and gimme my 25 BB points for this review.. jk (but seriously)

We have this gimbal for only 75 days used only two times, we did shipped it to california for repair, and after 21 day we got it back with the same problem, now we need to ship it back again and wait another three weeks. This review is based on my experience w/ various gimbals that I own. *** Outstanding! DJI has set the standard in the single handgimbal world. *** - First real time use was at comic con. The Ronin-S handles great and it's ergonomics made it easy to carry around for the event. - Video was very smooth compared to other single handed gimbals. I was using a Sony A7III with a 16-35 2.8 GM. This gimbal can handle this camera configuration and loads up to 8 lbs. - Mode and trigger button allows for creativity and quick access to personal configurations. If you don't already know, this gimbal allows a 360 degree roll, perfect for video transitions and design. - Joystick is the best in the market. The design allows for full control of the gimbal, a light touch will give a nice and smooth pan/tilt/roll etc. An aggressive touch will allow for quick and snappy response, perfect for sports. Again, because of my background with gimbals my review is based on experience. There are many reviews on youtube about this gimbal and I think you should watch them before making a decision. It was easy for me to setup. Every customer is different. New users to gimbals might find this a little more tedious than other gimbals. It is highly recommended to use the app for calibration and configuration. This gimbal has some weight to especially w/ a load, it doesn't bother me, but may have other customers complain. This gimbal is pushing my creativity and will continue to do so w/ its functions. I can't wait for DJI to announce future accessories and systems to attach to the Ronin-S. Once again, this is now my go to gimbal, and behalf of Best Buy, I will be buying a second Ronin-S for my video team.

Blehh - I honestly was very disappointed with this Ronin. After using it, I found that I footage recorded straight from handheld DSLR was less shaky than using the device. The packaging and app are flashy but in terms of utility, I'd pass in favor of other stabilizers on the market.

You charging $200 for some simple cables and a focus wheel, @##$. You basically gimp your own device. Not really compatible with Sony unless you buy you crap proprietary cable. Why not just use a c to c? Oh, right... Spending $600 wasn't enough. First experience with a gimbal. Followed all tutorials. Double checked, triple checked. Shaky mess, unusuable footage. Could probably do a better job with handheld. Updated latest firmware, balanced, smooth motion and even tried settings for pan strength blah blah.
